Speeds healing
I believe these bandages speed the healing process. Whenever I take one off of a deep healing cut, still filling in, I notice a significant difference [compared to trying to leave off a bandage for a couple of days]. This keeps the wound from drying out so it feels instantly better once I put it on. It keeps the dirt out and is clear enough so you see what is going on [if infection is starting]. On the contrary [to infection]....it seems, if you do have anything getting started on a cut, put one of these in place for several days and it seems to draw out whatever was brewing. I have had itching & irritation, like an infection may have been starting. Then I would clean and prepare the area with a little A & D ointment and possibly a little antibiotic ointment, if appropriate. I would wait a little before trying to apply the new dressing over that. Since I couldn't find the right size "band aid" type dressings, I just used the large dressings. I would cut one in strips [with scissors I purchased for that purpose only] and utilize those. Works great! I will use this type bandage for any future finger/hand cuts, for sure, or any future deeper cuts/wounds anywhere that will take a while to heal. I know to be careful, however. I used a thicker type that caused a skin reaction, so they are not all the same! Ones great for heels might be best for limiting to heels.

Did not stick when swimming
I got these because I have a wound on my leg and want to swim. I am not sure if I got a box that had been damaged in some way or what but one side of the first two I put on have come unstuck in the water causing my wound to be exposed. I am sure they are great and would help my wound heal if I could keep on on longer than a few hours. For the price I would expect them to stay put!

Repeat buy
Love these bandages. These are more absorbent, making them a better option for a wound that is wet still instead of a burn or blister. Stayed on better than any other bandage I have ever used.

I can't stress enough what a great value this is for $25. One sheet of these 15cmx15cm hydrocolloid dressings can be cut into 225 typical-sized acne-spot patches, which usually go for $10/120. And there are 5 sheets. While these dressings are thicker than the ones made specifically for acne, they can be cut to size for other wounds like cuts, burns, and rashes; seems to promote healing compared to a normal bandage; and doesn't stick to scabs as a normal bandage do. In fact, the moist environment it creates over the wound prevents a dry, itchy scab from forming, but protects it in place of the scab. Keep in mind that for uses other than acne spot treatment, it is better to leave the patch on for a few days instead of changing it daily. Definitely worth having a pack or two in your first aid kit.

This is a very good option compared to similar ones that are double the price. It really helped my dad's wound. Have purchased a couple of times already.
