Very nice
The headphone were great my son liked them very much. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because they send me the wrong design but my son was happy with them so I didn’t have to send them back.

Broke after a few months!
Worked great at first, but didn’t stand up to the kid wear and tear! In the trash already, broke after a few months!

Not too loud for little ears, and peace & quiet for me
I've already raised three kids, but now helping with my grandson. I guess I'm old and grumpy but I just don't have the desire to listen to hours and hours of Blippy (bless his heart), or some kid's toy reviews. (At least it isn't Teletubbies or the Wiggles any more). These plug into a Kindle Fire or older model ipad easily and I once again have peace and quiet for a while. The headband part is fairly rigid, but it does sit in place well, and the ear pads cover his ears. I don't think they are noise cancelling too well because he never has any problem hearing me asking him to take them off or whatever. It's nice to know too, that he can't turn the sound up loud enough to hurt his ears, so in that sense the volume control is good. I give it 5 stars because he can NOT turn it up loud. The sound quality is fine for him. I wouldn't use them for music, myself, though. They aren't made like Sennheisers but they don't cost that much either. If they last a few months I'll be happy and buy another set. The design is fun, and he likes having the TMNT on them.

Not great.
If the only time my 3 year old son used these was when sitting still in a quiet room in our house then they'd be fine. Using them in any sort of noisy environment or on the go just doesn't work. The idea of limiting maximum volume is a great one for protecting young ears but they've simply overdone it. Unless it's completely quiet then neither me or my son can hear whats going on during a show. The fit and build quality is pretty poor as well. Very cheap plastic and a really cheap cable that won't stand up to much abuse. They're also very bulky which makes them a poor choice for travel. If you plan on having your little one use these occasionally in a quiet corner of your home then they'll work fine, but if you want to use them on the go then steer clear. Although 15 bucks is pretty cheap there are still much better options out there in this price range.

Headphone Home
Kids are not always kind to headphones. We’ve been through more than a few pairs between my 2 children. Maybe it’s luck of the draw, but the ones with cords seem to hold up better than BlueTooth variety; I know that seems counterintuitive. And unless your child is much older, earbuds are a nightmare for young ones! These seem well-constructed. There is plenty of padding along the muffs to help protect their little ears and muffle outside sounds. The headphones are nicely adjustable by simply sliding the muffs up or down along the headband portion. They also stay in place well vs the headband sliding down the back of their heads.I demo’d these on my son’s Fire tablet by trying out about a dozen different videos on YouTube and as many games/apps. They get loud but not too loud, as advertised. I feel confident that either of my children can use these without damaging their hearing. The sound quality was ok - certainly good enough for a child. Overall, especially considering the price, these are a solid choice for a child!

Cute design, okay sound
These are cute Ninja Turtle headphones, and the littles like them well enough. I think they're more fascinated with the fact that they're Ninja Turtles than anything else though. They fit pretty well, and I like that the headband has some cushion. As far as sound, they're nothing special. If they're watching a cartoon the sound is pretty clear, but some music comes through a bit muffled. I tried them to check out the noise cancellation, and I could hear what was going on around me but it wasn't very loud, so that part is just so-so. I did notice some static when turning the volume up and down, which shouldn't be happening, especially when they're new. Over all, these are just okay, more about the theme than the sound quality. The kids do like them, so I guess that's what counts in the end.

Cute and light weight. I'm not sure the volume control is as low as I would like
These Sakar Headphones are lightweight and colorful. I got these for younger grandchildren to use when they visit. The size is good for the 3 year-old and the 6 year-old. They like the headphones. The 3 year-old can stand about 15-20 minutes with supervision. The 6 year-old can last at least 1 hour. I think the volume doesn't get too high, but I am not sure. I don't really expect headphones for those age children to last long. These are a bit flimsy, but I don't expect a long life. I think you definitely get your money's worth with these headphones. Enjoy!

Nice quality
These seem to be nice qualitty and if you are concerned about the volume for your children, this definitely has volume control. Your child might be a bit irritated he/she can't turn it up super super loud, but they get plenty loud. They do seem to bring out the bass in the music. My son was using a different set of headphones. We compared them. The first pair made the music sound higher. This pair made it sound lower. Then again, maybe the other ones brought out the trreble notes? All in all, I am pleased. They are adjustable and if you have a Ninja Turtles' fan he or she will love them.
