Beautiful - good quality
I loved these but they did not work with my double doors - just the way the doors and trim were... so I did not install, but they were very simple and provided several pieces to make different types of installation work for most any situation. They were also very sturdy and I wish I could have used them - it was a no hassle return - good company - nice products!

Very good looking but needs work
The quality of material 0f this slide bolt is very good. Its appearance is very nice. I had been satisfied with it for 6 months but it has broken. The simple pin limiting the stroke of the slide has fallen off. It was only pressed in place. For a $39 item a poor method of assembly. I have to drill and tap the existing hole and install a set screw or a round head Allen bolt might be better. I would but this again because it is very attractive. But, it is bound to fail and require the above modification.

well made and strong. good set up. easy to install. I buffed the top of mine to bring out a brassy shine on the face. It looks more antique like. attached to a double door to the ceiling. I got the 9 inch long one so my wife could reach it.

Perfect for our needs
The latch was perfect for our needs. It helped secure the door and it’s long enough for the short people in our household to reach it and open the door

Good looks, poor design...
The total slide is merely one inch, which is not proportional to the overall size. That means, the bolt- receiving end needs to be on edge of the door. The product claims that it can be mounted vertically as well as horizontally. The former works well, the latter not well at all. Will file off the stop and somehow improve the total slide.Liked the look. Now I realize that it is pricey given the poor design.

Heavy Duty but lacks detail
Expected the detail in the engraving to be a little nicer than what it ended up being. Will work for what we needed it for but doubt I will buy another for other projects.
