JRV Products A8976RBL Rocker Switch

Just so you know what you're getting, the item is 3 separate pieces. There is an outer frame or bezel, which raises the switch about 3/4 inch from the surface on which it is mounted. There is a flat plate which has the screw holes and a rectangular cutout for the rocker switch itself. Then there is the rocker switch, which clips into the flat plate. The back of the rocker switch with the electrical connector extends about an 1.5 inches beyond the back of the face of the mounting frame, and the connectors are not bendable to reduce the mounting depth. You will need to create a 1.25 inch diameter hole to mount the switch on a wall. I had planned to use a step drill to create the needed diameter mounting hole, but on my trailer there is only 1 inch depth between inner and outer wall, and step drills that create 1.25 inch diameter holes are too long and would drill through both the wall and the outer skin of the trailer.

I recently installed this switch to control an exterior step light and interior companion light for my travel trailer. Installation was straightforward although I did not install the large plastic bezel since I mounted a companion way light above it I need the switch to be as flat as possible.

Currently using 4 of these in my cargo hauler conversion. Nice size and seem to be sturdy.

This was just what I needed and works well so far.

It pricey but looks good and works as it should. I actually just ordered another for my motorcycle trailer interior camera.
