Does what it says
Good quality face mask. Bought for someone else. They seem very happy with them.

A premium brand at a premium price.
3M is an internationally recognised brand that markets a huge range of products.Face masks have been a thing of late. It’s known to tradesman, farmer, construction and DIY worker knows that a dust - particulate - mask is a very good idea against the crud that particularly power tool work creates. Your lungs will thank you. These are a simple design of porous filter material, stiff enough to form a cup for the nose and mouth. Held with the two-piece elastic straps that go around the lower part of the head/neck and the upper head respectively being fixed in four places firmly to the mask. This is a good thing, as it means precious seconds aren't lost adjusting a single piece of elastic that slides. The real problem is not the effectiveness, they work as expected, nor the fit, which is good, and comfortable enough. To be honest no mask is great to wear, and all restrict your breathing noticeably when doing heavy work, ie breathing hard - but that's a better thing than breathing in large amounts of dust from various materials at hand. The issue comes down to cost vs masks manufactured to the same stringent industry standards, you can from Amazon itself and others purchase more masks for your money. My rating reflects this reasoning.

Very quick on and off possible due to premoulded face style
These 3M FFP3 face masks are the ones I go for when wanting to be able to put on and replace or remove quickly. They are premoulded to your face and so no adjustment is needed other than minor one of the wire on the nose area. The straps do not need adding or adjusting they are sensibly placed too around the head avoiding ears entirely. If you cannot abide things on your ears these will be welcome. Also though a fit test is needed for use in healthcare settings as this mask is premoulded and firm on the face at least you can be sure you have the best mask possible without using that test kit.It is very roomy on the mouth area too so less chance of nuisance sweat on it from your face or orifices.Highly recommended.

Useful, but not the best fit for a small face
I’ve recently become a homeowner, meaning I’ve entered the world of DIY! There’s a lot of painting, sanding, and woodwork going on so I needed a mask to protect me.I’m a fairly petite woman with a small face, so I find most facemasks are a bit big for me and don’t provide the kind of sealed fit they are supposed to. Unfortunately, these masks are no different. They come right up to my bottom eyelids, and gape under my chin. Honestly, I’m not surprised, as I’m finding that protective masks that are likely to fit me would be considered a more specialist product.Regardless, they have provided some level of protection whilst doing DIY projects. They do fog up protective goggles a bit, but this isn’t surprising. That said, it wasn’t difficult to breathe with the mask on which was good.Overall, if you’re a “standard” sized person you’ll probably find these fit a lot better. Prices seem to have come down a lot in the last few months too, making them a bit better value. However, if you’re a petite person then expect these to be a bit big, or just try to find smaller fitting options. If you do find any, please let me know!

Too expensive even if it is 3M
I think most people know 3M is a good brand. They sell a few different products, which includes a large line of PPE and RPE products. They have built a reputation up as a brand you can trust, and quality isn’t in question.Unfortunately due to COVID everyone went crazy buying as many masks as possible which made it impossible for tradespeople and DIYers to go about their business. Prices were massively inflated, and that’s if you could even get the items which were always out of stock. Now we have been through many difficult times and the manufacture has increased I don’t see why prices should still be so elevated. Compare these FFP2 non-valved masks with another lesser known brand and it is apparent that these are overpriced.£10.86 for 3 of these masks compared with 10 for £9.99 of another top quality make. Come on 3M what are you doing? These are far too expensive even though they are excellent quality. The other brand I refer to even supplies each mask individually wrapped! There’s no excuse for the market leader to be so much more expensive other than to try and cash in, bad show.

Prevents dust inhalation
I am doing a lot of DIY at the moment around the house, especially drilling holes in masonry and sanding the walls. I’ve done this before without a mask and always end up sneezing with the dust. These masks cover the whole mouth and nose, and pinch at the nose connection to ensure a tight fit. I had to put a small knot in each of the elastic bands that wrap around the ears to ensure the sides of the mask was tight to my face – it just felt just a bit loose when I first tried it on.The masks worked as expected, was comfortable to wear and stopped me inhaling any of the dust or sneezing, especially when sweeping up the dust at the end.

extremely good!!
At the time of this review these 3 pk of masks are £7.41. now i know this seems a bit expensive compared to the face masks that we are seeing in all the shops for a cheap price tight not but people need to realise these masks are for a different use. I personally have been using them when using my heat press with sublimation ink as the ink generally really hurts my throat. With using these it protects my throat and i have no issues at all! will continue to purchase these! very good quality!
