Very Loud!
This thing is great! It wires directly to a battery with nothing more than a bit of black tape.I did not buy this to protect anything. I have a relative who thinks it's funny to wake me up early on my days off. This same man naps three or four times a day, every single day. So I bought this to hide under his house, near his bed. That way I may take revenge using the handy dandy remote 🤣.I worried it wouldn't be loud enough but it's quite loud. Louder than the average car alarm, I believe. And it makes the most obnoxious noises. I love it!!!Given that it's activated by remote only, I wouldn't suggest using this as an anti theft device.

Very Loud. Remote
I use it in my motorhome. We boondock in commercial parking lots as we travel (with permission) and I place this under the hood every night hooked up to my battery. I wired it with two alligator clips for quick connect and disconnect. I don't leave it under the hood during drive times. Remote stays in the coach next to my bed. One push of the button and it goes off without a hitch. Also have the same set up with some red and blue blinking lights that are remotely controlled. Hook it up via cigarette lighter port. One push of a button and they go off as well.

OK for 20 dollars can be made louder
it is pretty louddraws about 2.5 amps or so at 12.7 voltsdigital amplifier so about 25 watts rms delivered to the4 ohm dc resistance driverhas 3 surface mount diodes in parallel for reverse polarity protectionI removed diodes to get rid of the voltage dropI removed the pc board containing all of the electronicsand installed the pc board in a Pyle PHSP5 8 inch pa hornsame 4 ohm dc resistancethis makes it well over twice as loud with much better tonalityand frequency responseeasy to install the pc board in the much larger pyle hornplenty of room inside the pyle horn

Much better and louder than expected.
Far better than most of the reviews I read, I took a chance because of very low price and it really paid off. One piece, easy to mount using zip ties, wire's in directly to battery (or any constant positive - negative 12 volt power source). If mounted on the rear behind your gas tank, and directed down and to the rear, a vehicle stopped too close to you hears the sound as if it's coming from behind them. I mounted mine right next to the radiator pointing straight down. The sound is deflected off the pavement and is impressively LOUD!Using any of the 3 siren features on a public roadway is most likely illegal, but one setting is similar to a firehorn. Much louder than a standard auto horn. Great for summoning grandkids to come out to the car when going out to play.

no instructions
This arrived yesterday in a box that said "Good Quality," but had no instructions whatsoever. It operates with a remote, but no instructions as to what each letter on the remote means, how to turn on and off - nothing. It needs a power supply that I still need to get, so I have not tried it out yet. My rating is based on lack of guidance, not on the product itself.

Be ready to hit the B button to turn off any continuous alarms! The battery I used to test the alarm was a small 12V, 5 Ah flood light battery. Is this thing legal? Do not be in front of the horn or you will damage your hearing. Be 15 feet away from the back of the horn or your hearing may become damaged. You will be shocked and surprised by such loud siren sounds coming out of such a small horn. It is 100 watts of power and the decibels are much higher.
