Let’s start with the good- The box is well made and came as advertised. The sub fits snugly into the recessed area. It’s good bang for your buck if your new to car audio or just looking for a nice sound upgrade from stock.The bad- The box porting is tuned to 42Hz. Had I known this beforehand, I would have ordered something else in the 35Hz range. For those that don’t understand this, your sub will have to over extend, eventually killing it, to try and play below about 40Hz. You can’t really get down to the super low notes. The range is was built for sounds great though. The connectors on the outside of the box are sufficient for subs needing an enclosure of this size, but the terminals inside are terrible and the box doesn’t come with speaker wire already connected inside.All in all, it’s not a bad little box. It will fit the bill for your typical sound upgrade. If you’re looking for super deep bass, find something tuned to a lower freq. Still good bang for your buck at this price.

Solid construction and quality. As well as the poly fill that li,ed the interior of the box, in some cases it may not be needed, so just rip it out. Appearance of the box is amazing, carpet is great and can barely see the seems. Speaker terminals are great, except on the inside, be careful not to break them!

Good box... Little sloppy with the glue but functional.... Update on this review... Would not recommend this box for any sub with anything mote than minimal performance... It rattled to pieces, literally.... My Alpine Swr12-D2 cracked the box in several places... After taking the speaker out I noticed the port divider wasn't nailed and barely glued.... The whole box can be flexed due to a terrible job in manufacturing... One expensive piece of fire wood... Go to your local audio shop and have a box made to spec. ... Don't waste your money on this project

Craftsmanship on this box is second to none. Sounds great. Highly recommended

I would not recommend this product at all. The product doesn't even look like the advertised picture. The carpeting on the exterior is different that the picture and the front isn't gloss black also shown in the picture. All of the bolts are in completely different locations and the terminals on the rear are very cheap and not secured properly. Yes, its a ported box and it will get the job done in an okay manner but it is not as advertised.
