Our fireplace is longer than standard, so we called them for an additional few inches and they were wonderful to work with. Cut it to the exact size we needed! Thank you!

This looks fantastic, is really cushy, and can be cut to size if you want/need. There really is no better protection as it covers the whole surface, so it's great peace of mind for our busy-bee little one. We have a painted brick fireplace so we didn't use the adhesive and found we don't need to. It stays in place so well and is weighty and well made. The foam is dense and very shock absorbant. It was hard to spend this much when so many cheaper alternatives are out there, but we don't regret this purchase one bit. Looks even better than expected and very high quality. A fantastic neutral color too. Definitely get it or gift it. It's awesome.

Needed this for out little energizer bunny.It’s a goof fit and gets the job done but adhesion isn’t the best. My fireplace is concrete and the tape provided doesn’t stick too well and the foam at the bottom sticks out.Overall, a good foam to keep the kids away from hurting themselves.

Super happy with the quality of this product. It's a nice rubber foam topper that in the first hour of being on already saved my little from injury. It was easy to cut the middle piece to fit the fireplace and tape everything together on the bottom. I do not have the adhesive sticking to the fireplace brick, the pressure is enough to stick it to the hearth. Came with an entire roll of double sided carpet tape (the blue backing is extremely hard to get off) and detailed setup instructions. Worth the money!

We have an active 9 month old grandson who visits on a regular basis. We have a brick hearth that we don't want permanently taped off so this protective pad is perfect. We cut it to fit and it sits on the hearth without having to be attached. We just put a couple heavier items on it to prevent him from being able to pull it off. The real plus is that it looks so nice. It looks like we have a neat concrete cap on top of the brick when the pad is laid across the hearth. When he goes home, we remove the pad and we're back to normal in the blink of an eye. It was well worth the investment.

These are really attractive and that's nice when they are used on a focal point of most homes. However, the adhesive doesn't stick well to the texture of brick and constantly lifts. If I press it down, it's lifts back up within a hour. I've changed out the adhesive and even doubled it to try to fix, but to no avail. I feel this imperfection takes away from the intended aesthetic but they keep babys head safe so I'm happy.

This product is very well made, very soft and honestly will be nice not only for safety but also for guests to sit on. Customer support is very helpful but definitely read the instructions included!

This 3-piece set was not an exact fit for our hearth, but we couldn't find any other options. Our fireplace hearth is larger than this set can cover so we ended up buying another straight piece to extend coverage. The hearth also has curved corners instead of 90 degree angles. My engineer-brained husband coupled with my DIY creativity figured out how to make this work for us because we desperately needed to provide a safer environment for our granddaughter.In a nutshell, here's what we did to both corner pieces:1: Make a "pattern" of the curved corner. This was a little tricky for us since our hearth is made of jagged-edged limestone. Just remember to make room for the largest protruding stone.2: Using a right angle as a guide, detach the edges except for the ends. We used a sharp exact-o knife.3: Flip the corner piece upside down and cut out your pattern.3: Reattach the edges to your newly cut curve. We used contact cement which incidentally worked wonderfully. As a side note, we recently needed to remove the hearth cushion to have our chimney cleaned and the entire cushion came off in 1 piece without any signs of it falling apart.A note about the tape included in this purchase: The tape used for the folds of the cushion works well. You simply fold the straight edge of the middle portion and place the double sided tape in between. This does hold the folded edge in place. Now the tape provided for you to attach the cushion to the hearth simply doesn't work. In fairness, our hearth is a bit jagged and it would be asking too much of this type of carpet tape. Fortunately for us, the cushion is too long and heavy for our granddaughter to move it around. This simply stays in place without issue.Lastly, yes our cushion doesn't look like 1 perfectly congruent piece, but we've received compliments from our guests and other parents. If safety is your main concern, then this does a lovely job!
