Beautiful Strap, but it has Problems (an update)
This might be the best looking "Flag-Style" Nato strap out there, but it does have problems. The 6" to 8" sizing claim in the product description is not accurate. My wrist is exactly 6.75", and this strap does not tighten for a snug fit, however it is wearable. If you have a wrist even slightly smaller than 6.75", you will want to look for another strap. Now onto problem number two...The metal insert (prong?) that goes through the little punched hole in the strap is about 1mm too short and slips onto the back-side of the buckle during wear, which causes the entire strap to detach and fall off. I liked the strap so well that I decided to "fix" this defect rather than return it, and with this updated review, I will explain how I did so with the added caution that this strap may require a more permanent solution than the one I describe here. I will discuss those other options at the end of this review.Again, the real problem with this strap is that the prong in the buckle piece is too short. There is also a bit of play in the prong in that it likes to wiggle from side to side. Both of these defects cause the prong to slip from the top side of the buckle to the back side during arm movements while wearing your watch. When that happens, the entire strap falls off. Here is how I altered the product to help it stay fastened...I put a small dab of super glue into the area where the insert goes down into the fabric of the strap and let it cure for 24 hours. The effect was to stiffen up the prong so that it no longer moves from side to side and thus remains on the top side of the buckle flap. Unfortunately, after about 6 weeks, the glue-bond fails and it is necessary to repeat the process. At the same time, the glue-blond prevents the prong from moving up and down, which makes it a challenge to attach the strap since the prong can no longer be moved in EITHER direction! It was then I realized I didn't have to move the prong at all to thread the strap, all I had to do was to move the buckle flap itself up and down, providing a gap large enough (between prong and buckle), to thread the long end of the strap! This method of threading is awkward and will require to you to place your watch on either your lap or a dresser top to give you more stability. Although a bit aggravating, it can and does work. Now for the update on my work around...I have found it necessary to re glue the prong on this strap for a third time now. I had hoped the glue bond would hold for at least six months, but unfortunately that's not the case. There are two or three other options that I think would provide a permanent solution and one of those would bypass the buckle and prong fastening system on the strap altogether.ONE: Use a soldering gun to add a tiny piece of metal to the part of the buckle where the prong rests against it. The idea is to extend the lower portion of the buckle rim so that the prong can no longer slip behind it. Unfortunately, I have zero skill using solder and I don't even own a soldering gun, so just to find out if this will work means I have to spend more on materials ($24?) than what I paid for the strap!TWO: Substitute Locktite brand glue for solder and apply the fix above with just a bit of careful tweezer work. Locktite is the strongest glue made and should provide a bond strong enough to approximate solder.THREE: Cut the NATO strap at the long end (based on your arm size) and glue Velcro to the underside of the strap behind the buckle area, then add the matching piece of Velcro to the long end of the strap, placing it on the top side, thus bypassing the use of the buckle fastener completely.I repeat, if your wrist is under 6.75", do not choose this product. The Artstyle brand Nato straps are better in terms of both hardware and overall sizing. Honestly, I think Amazon should be selling this strap for $5 with a note to consumers that it has a manufacturing defect, unless it was just my luck to get a bad one. Good luck!

Exactly what I wanted
This watch strap is exactly what I needed. While I wish they made the blue and black color combo in the seatbelt material, this is still very comfortable and flexes well around my wrist. Also it is not super thick but still feels sturdy which is a plus for me. I'm definitely happy with this purchase and the unique colors give me a unique look. Thus is going to be my primary NATO strap for the foreseeable future.

Well made NATO watch strap. Recommended
Very well made strap. Heavy duty strap but not too stiff. At 11.5 inches, it's longer than most NATO straps. The buckle and keepers are sewn in place.I purchased the grey/white/navy strap and it looks great on my watch. I own several NATO straps for another watch [smaller lug width] and this ranks with the best of them. The price is great for a strap of this quality. I am ordering another.Shipping was super fast too

The green was too bright
Well made, but the green was too bright--not a true olive drab or army green, and although I liked the red and white in the center stripe, they were bright too and my son thought it looked like a candy cane. I thought about dyeing them in some tea or coffee to tone them down, but didn't and just returned them instead of possibly ruining them.

Great product; ok price; prompt delivery. Love the color scheme. The sizing is really great and one of the few watch bands in this size that will really fit a mans wrist.
