Works with nintendo 3DS?

When answering some people are forgetting (or don't know) Amazon is combining all versions of a product together.If you're talking about the 32GB or less, yes, it will work. The 64GB or more, no, it won't. The card must be SDHC and formatted as FAT32. Right now, I have a Transcend 32GB card in my 3DS and it works fine. The same should be true for other brands. My 3DS came with a Samsung 4GB SDHC card. I rarely use more than about 10GB on the card. I do backup the card to my PC (copy the entire card to a folder on my PC). I also remove image files that I don't need to keep on the 3DS and copy those to my PC - leaving what I need on the 3DS. The image viewer can be slow if there are several images to load. The MP3 player can also take awhile to start if you keep several files on the card. Once it's loaded, the music player works fine. Do keep that in mind. I have the original 3DS and it's not the fastest system if you plan to work with several files for music or photos. However, since I often have the 3DS with me, I do keep some files on the card the 3DS can't use but can be handy to have. The 32GB card isn't complete overkill. I can keep my resume on it or other files. I just pull the card out and put it in my laptop or PC and access these files if I need to. The 3DS will simply ignore these files.

does it work with Nikon 340?

this SanDisk card should work with Nikon L340 but it needs to be formatted just scroll through menu on Nikon and find format option and let the device format the disk for that camera. If there are any images on disk formatting will wipe them clean off. only takes a few seconds and then disk will be ready to go

Is this good for a long range camera like a nikon p900

SanDisk SDHC card will work fine in P900 you will need to format disk in camera before use this is normal even when new right from the start. Keep in mind that formatting will wipe the disc clean off even from the start

Recorder device says sd card needs formatting. put in card reader in computer and don't know what to do. please help!

I used it in a camera, and it prompted me to format. It was automatic. Does your recorder device offer formatting as an option? If not, can you "right-click" on the drive on your computer, and see if there is an option for formatting?
