Reliable performance and quiet.
The good GAn power supplies have earned their reputations.I don't like running power supplies near their limits. But I have run this AX1600i at 1590 watts continually for over a year, and it has not complained or given me any problems. Its has been a good power supply for a trouble-free quiet build.

Great powersuply for the price
Managed to get this after my 850w was unable to properly power my 5950x and 3090 kept getting black screens. Overall this powersuply is great. I no longer get black screens and it is way quieter than my old rm 850. The one anoying part is that when you turn on the computer the powersuply's fan goes to max, this is quite loud. But after about 10 seconds the fan turns off and it is dead quiet. I am also no longer getting coil wine in games, which I was getting with my old rm 850. I was also extremely happy to find that my old cable mod cables that I had got for the rm 850 were still compatable with the ax1600i.Overall definetly worth the price as long as you can find it in stock and at msrp.

The Best PSU
It's big. It's expensive. It is also the best PSU out there. My last PSU, a Corsair RM1000, I have had for 10 years and it is still going strong. However, since I was building a new PC, I figured I would go with a new PSU and decided on the fully digital, fully modular Corsair AXi 1600i. It is at the top of a lot of Best PSU lists out there and since I have had success with Corsair PSUs figured I could not go wrong. I like the full visibility you get through the Corsair iCUE software when you connect the PSU to an available USB header. I am getting plenty of good, clean power and high efficiency with this PSU. I am looking forward to getting another 10 years out of this one!

Quality Product
I cant say a bad thing about it. Its pricey but does everything its suppose to do and does them very well. Maximum output is as advertised, it's very quite and is considerably smaller than I expected. I've had it running now for a month with no downtime and not a single issue.

Worth the price for mission-critical PCs
The Corsair AX1600i is a premium power supply that is an excellent choice for custom builds and mission critical PCs, especially in areas with frequent power problems. I bought the Corsair AX1600i to replace an aging ThermalTake 1200 watt power supply that would no longer power up my PC. The Corsair AX1600i was easy to install and has been working perfectly since I bought it. The Corsair's self-test mode allows verification of the power supply's proper operation before installation. The self-test mode eliminates a lot of stress if you aren't sure whether your PC's problems are caused by a faulty motherboard, CPU or power supply. Corsair's bundled iCUE software allows real-time monitoring of the power supply's temperature, wattage, voltage, and fan speed. The iCUE monitoring software is well-designed and attractive — a big confidence booster that adds value. Other important pluses: 1) the AX1600i uses latest technology Gallium Nitride transistors and premium Japanese capacitors for super efficient, reliable operation; 2) it is fully modular; 3) it automatically adjusts to American, European and Asian voltages; the power supply is extremely quiet. The AX1600i is heavier than most power supplies at 11.5 lbs., but I had no problem fitting it into my case. It's expensive at $619, but a bargain considering its quality components, outstanding features, performance and reliability. If you are investing your time and money in building a high-end PC, I highly recommend the Corsair AX1600i.
