REDMAGIC 10 Pro (16GB/512GB) – Snapdragon 8 Elite Gaming Monster with True Full-Screen 144Hz
Upgraded from my REDMAGIC 9 Pro+ (loved it, but this 10 Pro is a massive leap) and after 3 months of daily abuse – competitive PUBG Mobile tournaments, Genshin Impact marathons, Warzone Mobile streaming, and even some emulation – this thing is straight-up unbeatable for $649. Gaming Performance Snapdragon 8 Elite crushes AnTuTu at 2.7M+ scores, Geekbench 3,000 single/9,300 multi. Genshin Impact ultra 60FPS: 6.5+ hours straight, zero throttling thanks to the 23,000 RPM ICE-X turbofan + liquid metal cooling (stays under 43°C even in boss fights). CODM/Warzone Mobile at 120FPS max graphics: silky 144Hz, 520Hz shoulder triggers feel like PC peripherals. Emulation? PS2/Vita/Switch via AetherSX2 or Yuzu – 100% stable at 2x resolution. My ROG Phone 9 friends are jealous. Display 6.85" 1.5K AMOLED with 144Hz refresh, 2,000 nits peak – outdoor visibility is insane, colors pop (100% DCI-P3). Under-display camera (2nd gen 16MP) is flawless for selfies/streaming – ZERO notch distraction, true edge-to-edge gaming immersion. Touch sampling hits 2,500Hz in games. Battery & Charging 7,050mAh dual-cell beast: 14+ hours gaming runtime (GSMArena-tested), 17h mixed use. Full day of heavy gaming + streaming? 45% left. 100W wired fills it 0-100% in 35 mins (80W GaN brick included works great). No wireless, but who cares? Build & Features 229g metal frame + glass, IP54, feels premium (Dusk color hides fingerprints). RGB lighting + IR blaster + 3.5mm jack – yes please. Stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio are loud and bassy (though crank 'em carefully to avoid distortion). RedMagic OS 10 (Android 15) is buttery, Game Space mode kills bloat and optimizes everything. Camera (not the focus, but solid) 50MP OIS main + 50MP UW snap decent daylight shots/videos (8K@30). UDC selfies are sharp enough for TikTok. Don't buy this for pro photography – it's a gaming phone. Minor gripes Software promises 1 OS upgrade (fair for gaming phones), some pre-installed apps (easy delete). No eSIM (physical SIMs only), cameras oversaturate a bit in low light. For half the price of an S25 Ultra or ROG Phone 9 Pro, you get flagship+ gaming performance, the best battery in class, and a distraction-free screen. If mobile gaming is your life, pull the trigger – this is the new king. Already ordered the 24GB/1TB for my bro. 10/10, GG REDMAGIC. Worth every penny.

Spotty Signal if using Verizon, but a great phone overall
I've seen many reviews on this phone before I decided to buy it. I even knew about the spotty service for Verizon. I've had this phone for about 3 weeks and it's a great phone. When I'm gaming on certain games the back still stays pretty cool (at the time of writing its during the summer and its hot). The fan does help when you want the proccessor to stay cool. The OS is not bad, I had an S21 Ultra before switching to this and I had to relearn somethings. Both are android but the redmagic acts similar to an iphone's OS. You can of course change it in the settings to be similar to the s21u. Pros: Unlocked works with Verizon even though some say its not. Preinstalled screen protector Excellent battery life 80% can last up to a whole day of mixed usage, ie gaming, insta, using the browser, or watching videos. If you are using with not much gaming it can last up to 2 days Screen is pretty good, the samsung is brighter in lower levels but at max is just as bright. Color accuracy is also very good, almost identical to the s21u. Also has 144hz but resolution is lower than the s21u but I don't mind. If you care about the screen get the amoled version of the redmagic. Cons: Spotty signal with Verizon. I read that the best carrier for this phone is Tmobile but my family is on a Verizon plan so I don't intend to switch. I had to enable developer mode to keep the mobile data on and so far I haven't had any issues. Everything is google, ie phone for calling, messages, and gallery for photos. You can probably download other apps but I don't want to especially since a lot of third party app will have ads. Speakers are really low on default. Ringtones, alarms, notifications are pretty low volume despite having it on max volume. Using the default DTS app was able to make the volume for entertainment louder but not the ringtones or notis from what I've experienced. Edit: 9/14/25 Con: Receiving images (pics, screenshots, etc ) is terrible. It could be a variety of things that can cause this though. I tried everything in google messages to try to fix it but I was only able to fix it a little bit. What as an unreadable mess was now at least semi-readable. This happens on both android and iphone so it has to be the messaging app or could be my service provider. I get at least 30Mbps so it shouldn't cause any issues when receiving images because they should be that hard to download when receiving right? If this gets resolved in some way I will re-edit this post in a future update.
