Bought an older flat screen TV that doesn't allow anything bigger than an hdmi cord to be plugged in. My firestick is too long to plug into the hdmi port because of TV design. This cord fixed the problem. Cant find in any store around my area. Works great.

When I had received my FireStick, I excitedly ran to my TV to plug the bad boy in. I was crushed when I realized the FireStick was too long to fit into the HDMI because of a groove my TV’s design has on the back. There was no way I could jimmy the stick in without risk of breaking it. After a quick internet search, I came across this adapter. It solved my problem!I’ve had this adapter attached to my tv and FireStick for a couple months now and the picture is perfect... audio is perfect... all of it’s perfect! The adapter works seamlessly.The only thing that bothers me is that my FireStick dangles from the adapter. I might tape it to the tv so I don’t have to worry about it moving around. I don’t think it’ll detach itself from movement, but it’s just my incessant need to have things a certain way. Haha.

I had an older fire stick and I took it from Grandma's TV because she couldn't really work it, and I put it on the TV in the other room or at least I tried, the way the back of the TV is shaped it wouldn't allow for the fire stick to fit into the slot that it needed to go in to. So I put it on the other TV upstairs where it fit. I ordered a new fire stick for the living room TV and since I knew it wasn't going to fit in there I also ordered this little handy adapter, I got the fire stick first, I kept it handy waiting for the adapter to arrive, several days later the adapter arrives so I open up the fire stick in the first thing I pull out of it is, an adapter! So make sure you know if you need it or not before you order.

I wish this was longer but I cannot hold that against them. They put in their the exact measurements and they were correct when the product came it.It functioned exactly as I needed and I had no connection issues at all. I'd definitely purchase again.

This little dongle works great. I use it in my homemade poor man's KVM switch setup. When I want to swap out which computer is plugged into the monitor, I could buy a $100 KVM switch which will never work reliably. Or I can buy a little dongle like this. It stays plugged into the monitor so I don't have to dig around back behind it. I plug and un-plug computers into the dongle, and never have to mess with the monitor side of the equation. Easy!

It's a kid thing, I guess. Every time I've had to buy one of these since the 1st one that came with my Firestick, year's ago (which was the 1st to disappear), that pesky vortex or wormhole that opens near my tv just sucks the things up...and spits 'em back out, sometimes miles away, right onto my kids' Firesticks.So I guess it's doing its job. Keeps my Firestick far enough away from the hottest part of the back of my TV to keep it from overheating.And my kids' Firesticks.And my grandkids' Firesticks.

We had an older flat screen tv but the single HDMI port on the back was located in such a way that you could not get a FireStick plugged in. This resolved the problem.
