I got this this cause I love leopard and I have to wear a mask in public. I expected the ear pieces to be white but not shoe laces with pony beads. So I was a bit taken by that. So I gave it a try in a grocery store when perfume and smells over took me. It was amazing the ear pieces were soft easily adjustable. The mask was amazing. It's loose so it doesn't cause my glasses to fog but not too loose to let smells in. I did get slightly overheated but was able to loosen the bottom near my chin up to air it out enough to keep cool. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a reusable mask. Unlike my other masks I wouldn't be afraid of this one getting left in a pocket and washed it's very durable.

My 3rd Breathe Healthy mask. I like the quality and durability. Hand wash and hang to dry and they will last a long time.

I needed a mask for daily use after having a stem cell transplant. I was tired of wearing the cardboardy masks, so when I found the Breathe Healthy masks I was super excited. After I received them I brought them to my next doctor appointment to show them how snazzy they are. Well, unfortunately they don't qualify for the kind of mask I needed to be wearing. They're comfortable and easy to fit, but they won't be effective for anyone who needs a mask to keep from getting sick via air particles.

This is a big problem if you live in Knoxville, TN, otherwise known as the Springtime Allergy Capital of the US. So this year, in addition to the usual gamut of medications, desensitization shots, nasal Rx sprays and irrigation, eye drops, steriods, allergen neutralizing sprays, etc., I have taken to wearing masks. The dinky things that medical professionals wear do not work. The (very effective) papery 3M particulate (sanding) contractors' respirators with exhalation vent scared kids at my daughter's preschool so much that one little boy started screaming and crying and wouldn't walk through the door I politely held for his mother. That same afternoon, I covered the offending contractor's mask with one of the ineffective surgeon's masks to take my daughters to indoor soccer practice (issues with mold in most of the indoor sports centers), and watched an entire family move from an adjacent table to the bleachers across the room after lots of whispering about the really sick lady at the next table wearing a mask.As you can probably guess, I was desperate for something that didn't look like a Bird Flu or "Breaking Bad" advertisement (I only wear THAT respirator when I have to do yardwork). After approximately one week of online research (and submitting one question to other Amazon.com reviewers), I decided on this mask. It is exactly as described, works, and if you are willing to put up with the extra heat on your face it is a great mask. The issue with the straps is really just stylistic: beige-y straps would have looked so much better! But overall, given the effectiveness of the mask and the fact that it really doesn't look like something Walter White would don, I give it a solid 4.5 stars.

I bought this to protect from pet dander while visiting family. It barely helps. The fit is not very snug so dander can get in. It's also very itchy. I'm so disappointed that I spent $20 to have it shipped in time for my trip. For that price I could've just gotten good tight fitting disposables. Going to bed itchy and wheezing.Wish I could get my money back for this one.

This is the first mask that has been a joy to wear and I don't look funny! The fact that it is machine washable is wonderful....

Way too expensive for what it is. The attachments that hold the mask around your ears are not elastic and the fit is not very tight.
