Be patient!
I had my doubts about how this would go on- particularly that rear part with all of the little tabs that needed to be folded around the corners, etc. And sure enough when I started to put this thing on I got to a point where I was about to rip it all off and go with a different solution. But just like the instructions said, give it time! It only takes about two minutes to get the back on straight and get most of the liquid squeegeed out. The part that takes a while and patience is waiting for the little corner tabs to get just dry enough that they’ll stay on the edges of the iPad AND for the corners to be able to adhere to the curves right above where those tabs wrap around. In the end it probably took around 30+ minutes for all of this to settle and become dry enough so that I could leave it overnight to become permanent. When putting this on, take extra care around the speaker holes on the bottom, as this is the part that I found the most tricky to line up. Again, these delicate little cutout areas of the sheet will move around a lot until they reach that point where they are just tacky enough to hold but remain movable if necessary. Once they do reach that point, you'll have ~5-10 minutes to nudge them and finally push them into place. As for the screen side protector, this was a piece of cake compared to the rear. It probably took me about three minutes to accomplish. I did it the following day after the rear shield had dried so I wouldn’t accidentally ruin the work I had done on the rear. (Once completely dried, you can get it wet and it won’t matter.) Right after application, the screen had that blur/distortion similar to film grain for those old enough to remember what that looked like. But again, like the instructions say, give the front shield time overnight to set and that will clear up. It will not be as crystal clear as not having the shield, especially when viewed with the screen off and under light. But in regular use it looks pretty good for most uses (surfing, most apps, etc.). It is a bit more fingerprint resistant than the glass screen, so whatever you lose from the protector itself you might make up for by having less smudges.I am very satisfied with these products- have one on my iPhone as well. I had concerns about the whole wet application method since I had never done it. But it works fantastically- especially for the large screen area on the iPad.

Great product
The quality of this product is good. It fits well and protects the margins around speakers and the lightning connecter. I only use the back shield because it slightly decreases the clarity of the Retina display. It's the same with other shields you could buy on the market, such as Zagg. It was expected and I personally prefer using higher-end screen protectors made by PowerSupport. So this is not an issue for me.It did take me some time (~40 minutes) to apply , but it was not hard. Just follow the instructions. Watch the instruction video on their website or Youtube channel. When it is wet, it is easy to make adjustment. I spent most of my time taking care of the corners. It didn't stay attached when it was too wet. So I needed to wait a bit until it became semi-dry. But this issue exists in shields from other brands too.I actually bought this product twice. I bought my first one and liked it. When I decided to use a hard cover on my iPad Air, the shield made it impossible to put the hard cover on. Because most of the hard covers are made to fit and doesn't have much room to stretch. And the shield added a little thickness to my iPad. So I had to take the shield off. It was expected so I didn't feel anything bad about it. Actually by doing so I had a chance to see whether it's going to leave residue or not. And it did not leave residue! I did see 3 little dots left but they were easily removed with water. Then I got tired with my hard cover and decided to use my soft cover again. I usually use soft cover with the shield because the shield provides an extra protection from scratches caused by the dust between the soft cover and the iPad body. I thought I could get a free replacement from ArmorSuit because they offer "Lifetime Replacement". However, when I was about to request my replacement, I found that I needed to send the old one back. Unfortunately, I threw it away after I removed it. That was fine because that was my own fault for not reading their policy before I removed my old shield. So I ordered the second one. Here are my points:The Good:1. Good made-in-USA quality.2. Doesn't leave residue.3. Covers most of the body, including the margins of lightning connecter and speakers.4. Adds very little thickness so you can still put on soft protectors/covers. (But not hard snap-on ones)5. Very good price!6. Lifetime ReplacementThe bad:1. Slightly decrease screen clarity.2. You cannot use hard snap-on covers with the shield on.Reminder:1. You need to send the old one back for the lifetime replacement.2. Remember to turn off your device when applying the shield. Because the liquid could go into your device. If your device is on, the liquid will cause some trouble.

Great product and customer support
I am giving this product 5 stars, I think this is the first 5 star rating I have given, for their customer service. This was the first time I installed a shield on any of my devices. My son has installed a few. normally I have him do it or I pay someone, which is now twice as expensive as it was with my last device. I purchased this shield thinking that if I messed it up I would not be out much but if it worked I would have saved a lot. Well I did everything I could to make sure I did it right. I made sure that there was no airflow to stir up dust, I view the installation video and did what it said. I still did not get it right. I had trouble getting it to go into position correctly. So I pulled it up and tried again, and again. In doing so I managed to scratch the product, I let the front surface dry out in some parts without knowing it. The back I could not get on at all. By this time I was frustrated. I called the company and they informed me of what I should have done and where I made my mistakes. In the end they even sent out a new shield to make sure I would be happy with the product. The air bubbles that I introduced did go away, and I had a lot of bubbles, but it took several days for the ones I was worried about to disappear. So be careful of dust particles, They suggest installing the product in a steamy bathroom. Make sure to keep the front moist so not to scratch the material, which does do a good job of self repair, though I did manage to scratch it pretty good. Last be patient, make sure you have a plan to align it correctly.Armor suit is great to deal with, therefore the 5 stars, and they went out of their way to fix my mistakes. I have recommended them to others already and will continue to do so. Thanks Armorsuit
