LOVE <3
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! This is very similar to the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser but this is better. This has physical and chemical exfoliants in it and this is much more gentle on the skin. This feels like a cream more than a scrub. This is a couple dollars more than the FAB, but the Cyklar is 11oz as opposed to the FAB which is 8oz. Give it a try! P.S. get the Cyklar Milky Body Essence too because these two together make an amazing duo!

Effective but Not a Standout
I am on the fence about this product. Initially, it was difficult to squeeze out of the tube, but after a few uses, the texture softened a bit. I still have to warm it up in my hands before applying it to my body or it comes out too thick and globby. Personally, I think this product would have been better packaged in a jar or tub for easier use.The exfoliating beads are large, maybe too large to actually exfoliate. I understand that it is designed to offer both physical and chemical exfoliation, but the texture might not be for everyone. The scent is a little strange, which may be due to the lactic acid, although it is not overwhelming. It’s not exactly what I’d describe as refreshing, but I do appreciate that it doesn’t leave any residue on my skin or shower floor. This exfoliator does work over time and the size of the tube is generous, which is a plus.As someone who enjoys trying different beauty products, I can say this one is effective with consistent use, but it is not my favorite. If I could, I would give it three and a half stars. Since that is not an option, I am giving it four.

It is the end of the summer, and it is time to remove some of the tan that I have built up over the months. It's not that I want to not have the tan, it is just that the skin is old and ready to be sloughed off. I actually hope to have more opportunities to be kissed by the sun before winter, but I think a fresh layer of skin needs to present itself so that the tan is fresh.I purchased this because it is both a chemical and physical exfoliator. As a physical exfoliator, it works quite well. It is not too abrasive, and the particles do no dissolve as they do if it were a salt or sugar scrub. It gives me as much time as I need to massage the cream into my skin.It might also do well as a chemical exfoliator. My skin does feel fresh, something I have found lactic acid and mandelic acid to do for my skin. However,t he physical exfoliator is so much more in the forefront, I cannot tell for sure which one is truely the star.I will say as a whole that this is a great product that has been doing a good job of keeping my skin fresh. It has removed some of the tan, but there is still more time to soak in the rays. The bottle is big, and this should last a long time. I am very happy with this product!

Thoughts from an Exfoliant Snob
I’ve tried what feels like dozens of physical exfoliant body washes, all of the well known brands (which wont be mentioned here) and also a few high end, luxury ones as well. I’ve paid anywhere from $15 to $100 for different body scrubs, and I am a real physical exfoliant enthusiast. This one by Cyklar might be my new favorite! What I love about it:It comes in a HUGE tube. Most thick physical exfoliants come in a smaller tube and only last 10 full body uses or so in the shower. But this tube is much larger than average - and on top of that, it FOAMS!!! This is a surprisingly unique feature for this category of product, and it means the product can go even further. This is a great bang for you buck and i can use about half of what I normally use. I also love that, despite cyclar being a perfume-focused brand, they chose to leave this product very mildly scented due to the exfoliating properties. This tells me they’re really thinking about their formulas and care about the results. The exfoliating experience itself is very textural, the grainuals being quite small but effective. They don’t dissolve too soon, but with enough massage will eventually break down which tells me they’re not too harsh/sandpapery. The price point is also pretty incredible.I highly recommend it!

a gentle yet effective, comfortable exfoliating scrub
I've managed to spend the last 15+ years taking immaculate care of the skin on my face while simultaneously saying "meh" when it comes to body skincare. Cleansing my body and removing uncomfortable unwanted hair has been my body skincare routine for as long as I can remember. I never loved the texture of lotion, so moisturizers were only occasionally added as an afterthought. To put it bluntly, my body skin suddenly decided to start showing its age, and I decided it was time to start taking better care of it.This scrub manages to be super gentle and comfortable while really exfoliating even the most dehydrated-looking skin on my arms and legs. It feels a bit like a microdermabrasion facial scrub, with a creamy consistency and small exfoliating bits, not like scratchy, large bits. The skin on my arms is actually quite sensitive, and rather than irritating it, this scrub helped make it smoother and calmer. It has no real fragrance, which I appreciate; I have cleanser and then fragrance (if I choose to wear it that day) to do that, so I appreciate a product that doesn't add to the load. Another bonus? The tube is huge and will last a long time.

Feels like a scrub
Update: I am not sure what happened but I went to use this body wash yesterday and it smelled like sweaty socks. It’s just been sitting in my shower so I don’t know if a specific ingredient spoiled but the it was very noticeable!Pros: this body wash arrived sealed. I liked the exfoliating granules in the body wash. I used circular motions with my hand to create a foam from it. I did not notice any irritation after use but as it is lactic acid, I’ll have to make sure to wear ample sunscreen tomorrow. It felt nice, almost like a scrub. I could feel it smoothing out some textured areas on my chest.Cons: Although it is a pretty large tube, I had to use a lot just to scrub my arms. I think you would have to use quite a bit if using as body wash for your entire body. I’m planning to extend the longevity but only using in areas of concern.
