I could not find gate tall enough for my cats, so i decided to purchase this, using it ontop of each other to give me the height i wanted. I have 6 cats and they dont get along, two of them are in my bedroom, i thought that if they get to know each other when i keep bedroom door open but using this gate as a separator maybe one day they can all be in one room together.Pros : The gate is made if metal atleast yout cat wont be able chew through the gate.Easy to assemble, if the intruction dont make sense for you, you can watch the video on youtube.I am pressure mount is attached just outside of the wooden door frame, which gives me the opening of 90cm, this gate with the extra extention included is a perfect fit for me, and that means that the end of the bat closest to the pressure mount/wall is also pretty much the same gap as the openings between bars are about 2inches wide, This means that it is small enough that my cats dont fit inbetween bars. My cats are are all adults and not small.Cons: The gate doest swing both ways, if you intent on using it the way i do, you need to remember that the top and bottom gate opens opposite ways, I am short so i dont really have a problem with this.The gate is not strong enough for dogs or babies without screwing the pressure mount to the wall. However once the pressure mount plate is screwed to the wall it will not move, it will be more sturdier.Kittens and small cats will be able to go through in between the bars, if your doorway is wider than 90cm between the last bar and the wall will have a wider gap, i would suggest thatyou get additional extension or, you can purchase PVC white stiff pipes (small ones) from your local hardware store and you can use that as one of the bars, drill holes through top and bottom using zip tie you can tie that to the wide part of the gap. That should take care of the wide gap.

I was looking for a gate to separate my mama cat and her kittens from my other cats.. also wanted it tall so that they cats don’t jump over ..I was looking for a height of 90cms and I got this one at 104 cms .. extremely happy with the purchase.. delivery was super quick and the instruction booklet very handy to fix .. I did it all by myself with the help of the instruction book.. It’s a very attractive gate and doesn’t go unnoticed .. I’ve had visitors ask me where I got it from.. it’s a Hit!! This is a value for Money Product , the gate is high, hip length for me who is 6 ft tall.Its sturdy , easy to install and elegant . It helps keep my dog within the space and will be helpful even when he grows bigger. Its a much better product than others that are being advertised , intend to buy another one to keep the dog out of the kitchen.

Height is perfect and thats the reason I purchased. The locking mechanism is entirely manual and if you have to use it constantly (kitchen), you have to use both the hands to release the spring level and lift the lock mechanism.The lower door lock is entirely manual and needs to be locked if you want more safety. if you don't lock, the door will have a huge play in the lower half.While the product claims it opens on both side, the lock mechanism permit swinging the door only on one side. Despite all these limitations, I tried installing the gate but the lock mechanism prevented tightening of the screws and was operating only when the screws are 90% tightened ( I am a DIY person and I can assure that this was not because of lack of understanding the installation method). The screws were not sufficient to keep the door in position and a small push would have removed the gate from its position.I purchased this for preventing my large sized dog from entering the kitchen and it was not suitable for my requirement, so I returned it immediately. If you want it for a non-traffic area just to secure the kid while you do your work, this might work. There are however much better product out there (I was using babylon automatic shut gate until my dog broke it with repeated abuse. Worked like a charm for the 5+ months but the height was too less and he could easily lean on the top door because of which it started to wear out)

I Installed this on my kitchen entryway to keep my pup out. So far it has worked wonderfully. It is non-intrusive and doesn't damage any walls. Had a bit of confusion in assembling and installing, but you can figure it out easily. I have used it for a week so far and it has worked out great.

It’s a very beautiful and sturdy gate.. since it’s a bit tall come above waist of a 5ft7inch person, it’s excellent for taller dogs and cats both. My cat can’t even pass thru the grill. It’s very aesthetic and made of visibly very good material. Must invest in this if you have pets

Wonderful product especially for pets as I have 3 at home . It's about 3.4 ft tall and keeps my Inidan breed well stopped ! The only issue I had was it's width . It's a bit small for my 31/2 ft doorway and I am not able to find the extension stick for this . It would be gr8 if the dealer can provide me with one .

Installation was pretty easy..product is surely great ....I purchased it for my medium sized dog...He hasn't tried to break through it and come ...so can't say yet if it's movable ....will surely update this review.

Item purchased to stop my rescue greyhound from charging upstairs to the bedrooms. Absolutely perfect for the job. Installed at the foot of the stairs and the tall version was a good choice because of the dogs size. Product also recommended for anyone with quite a wide stairwell, mine definitely needed the extender which was included and a lot of other makes require the extender to be purchased separately. I found it quite easy to install as well (the protection cups helped and I didn’t need to use the fixing screws). Very pleased and well impressed. Do make sure you measure the area the gate is intended for by height as well as width before ordering !

I bought this for my bedroom so I could keep the dogs that live in the house from coming in, because I'm allergic to them. There is only one problem. I can't shut my door now because the the door knob sits exactly where the top bar of the gate is. Even if I move the gate to the small part of the door frame, it won't shut, as you can see in the photo. I will either have to return it and get a shorter one, which means bending down every time I want to enter or leave and the dogs could jump over, find a doorknob that sticks out less or deal with never closing my door all the way or locking it. I'm disappointed because I like these gates and the ones we had before lasted a long time. I wish it adjustable angles on the edges so I could put it on the large part of the frame by the door hinge and set the other side against the wall where I'm pointing.

Great product, very strong. Easy to put on . My only dislike is the narrow gate opening, I’m far from big but still have to turn sideways to get through. I didn’t need the extension part, it fitted perfectly on my caravan door.

Great tall gate , sturdy and safe. Only negative is that the gate only opens one way but it does what it's intended . Did arrive all scratched but Amazon sorted this immediately no issues . Would recommend

The "assembly required" notation on the box belies the fact that this item is easy to put together. We have ADA compliant doors and my first attempt at installation failed because our door width exceeded the capacity of this gate. However, I found an extension in the box that made the gate fit perfectly. If this extension was mentioned in the literature I missed it... but I'm not very good about reading instructions.Once assembled this gate impresses with it strength, rigidity and ease of use. We have yet to use it in our daily affairs but I'm confident it exceeds my expectations. If I discover any failings I will report them. My recommendation? If you need a gate BUY THIS!
