The ice maker I installed this water filter to began to malfunction after a month. I found greenish crystals plugging up a valve in the ice maker. Apparently, the material inside the filter was leaking a bit so I just flushed it out some more until no more loose material was present. I should have flushed out the filter at the beginning before hooking it to the ice maker. Everything is good now.

I like this one because it will last much longer than the smaller HF20s. It still fit well in the filter holder on the side of the ice bin

Easy to use system
Larger filter for the kitchen. The water flow is now normal with size 60.
