this manual is great to get started with a sibshop after training.

Still reading this workbook, but so far it is excellent in explaining the issue siblings of children with special needs. My son has Tourette syndrome and other comorbid conditions ( ADHD, OCD, anxiety, high functioning Aspergers )his twin sister has no special needs. It has been difficult for her at school and in public. I am hoping to support her and others like her through our local TS chapter with a SibShop in the future.

Highly recommend this book to amyone working with special needs individuals. This book focuses not on the individual but his/her siblings. It is SOOOOOoooo important to acknowledge these siblings as active participants in the care and overal lives of special needs individuals. This book does a great job at defining activities to help engage this population. Gives you everythign you need to host your own little "sibshop." Pick this book up...you'll be glad you did.

Being the sibling of a special needs child, I lived the "forgotten" syndrome. Sibshops are important and much needed. This book gives a lot of ideas for groups with children in general not just siblings. There are several fun activities to do with the children.

Excellent resource. Written with all perspectives in mind. Easy for most to understand and create programming from.
