Great Light.
The box was packed with enough styrofoam to protect the light well. It is a two section light with Veg, Bloom and the power connection on top. The weight is about 20 lbs. There are two sets of connectors for the light to be mounted and a set of ratchet style adjustable cords with cabineers. I'm putting this in a grow tent. The connectors are too long to use 4. Using just 2 and connecting the clips to the posts tightly would be better. I did not want a heavy light hitting my veggies do I used 12 gauge electrical wire through the posts and wrapped it around the wire on the other side. It is very secure and I know it won't fail. The ratchet cord has metal gears and works well. The light is very bright. I bought uv400 glasses to protect my eyes. The full spectrum is amazing. When in just veg only 2 fans come on. Veg and bloom all 4 come on. It is a bit louder than I though it would be.My seedlings are in for spring planting and doing well. I keep the light 40 inches from the new hatchlings and move it down to about 30 inches. All in all I'd buy this again. Hope this helps you decide.

Solid purchase, solid product so far.
Plants in a 4x4x7 tent seem to be doing well so far in their veg cycle. I had originally stunted and slightly burnt them by following the manufacturers directions and hanging the light at 24".Luckily I caught this in time before serious burn damage was done and they are recovering nicely. I'm afraid it IS going to effect their size in the end though, but now I know what works for me and I won't have this issue next grow. I would even recomend hanging this light at around 30" to 32" to start with and closely observing your plants to avoid burn and allow for proper stretch (depending on your area size of course.) If you see too much stretch between nodes or the space between the sucker leaves, then lower the height a bit and go from there until you find the right distance to make your plants happy. This light is full spectrum, so the light color is a white/yellow and not all blue and red like some LED lights. I'm not sure where they are getting 1200 watts from though, it's nowhere near that. This particular unit draws around 524 watts from the wall and it outputs like 460 or so watts. It is possibly a marketing ploy, as in "1200w" could be the "model number" of light, but when you see it in the add, the 1200w jumps off the page at you and makes you think of power rating. Regardless, this is still a great light with a great price (currently $400) and well worth the investment imo. This particular unit does lack some of the functions of the more expensive LEDs, like on/off switches, veg/bloom cycles and included adjustable hangers to name a few. The good news is that the price of this unit totally reflects these missimg functions so you can give love to your plants and to your wallet at the same time.I also don't believe it utilizes Cree or Cob technology either, but this light doesn't seem to need them to produce top shelf product with a substantially lower cost investment. Most of us use some sort of a timer control, so the lack of an on/off switch is no big deal really. As far as veg/bloom cycle, you don't really need that on a full spectrum light anyway, but I see the new models coming out soon are supossed to ship with a veg/bloom option. The light has 4 high speed fans and aluminium heat sinks to expel the heat it generates. Although it gets the air around it somewhat hot, the unit itself can be touched directly at any time. Like most LEDs, the heat that it does generate is a far cry lower then any traditional MH/HPS hoods. The temperature zones can also be controlled much better.Running this LED I am able to adjust the canopy temperature to about the same as the ambient temperature, something that is almost impossible to do with MH/HPS hoods. The 4 fans are semi-loud, but not annoyingly so. It is no louder then a desk fan really. This light is also pretty hefty, I would recomend getting some good rope hangers with metal gears to support and height adjust your new grow light. The non-adjustable hangers it ships with did not have enough "balls" for me to feel comfortable using them, so they stayed in the box.Final verdict - Great price for a "no-frill"s grow light. Arrived on time in good shape. Solid purchase, solid product so far. Plants like it.PS - I paid full retail price for this item and was not offered any discounts for reviewing, rating and/or endorsing this product, nor its affiliated company. Happy 420 ;D

Worth it so far. No problems and growth is great. Especially for vege.
So far it seems to be pretty great. Been using it for 6 months now and I've had no issues with it.Some 1 star review was saying "about 30 lights stay on all the time" but this isn't true. Every single light shuts off with the timer. So he definitely just needed to use his warranty and get his unit replaced. (The warranty is really nice, too). The only issue I had was for a 3x3 tent it got the tent up to 86 degrees when it was set to a lower height. But with it up as high as it goes my tent is registering an average of 73 with it on. Safe zone for pretty much every plant.I'm also reading that the red spectrum is lacking, so I have a supplemental light for that. But flowers are big and sparkly. If they're not bigger I'm sure it's partially my fault and genetics. But the flowers aren't impressive in size (yet). Will update.

2 1200 watt lights in 8x4 tent
First i want to say, I researched and more searching. All i could find was added timer plus dimmer switch for double even triple the price. They all have the same or similar diodes. That being said the rest will determine the number of stars.Second the price is great. There are cheaper lights. But i decided to go in the middle. They give off great light in both modes. They do produce the heat needed to keep your plants warm. But upon touching the actual light, Just barely warm. At the moment im on 18/6 light shcedule. Even after 18 hours still just barely warm to the touch. So far at a month veg for cannabis. And a few weeks veg for pepper, about a week veg for bush bean and little roma tomato. They are all loving it. Growing strong. That being said now onto issuse.1) the 2nd day air shipping is a joke. (Yes thats just impatient me talking) ordered on sep 30th, arrived oct 11th. 2) the packaging was mediocore. 2 1200 watt lights came in a box way bigger than needed. No extra padding around them. 3) upon opening the big box the lights were in individual boxes. The top, bottom, and corners were padded well. The edges hardly had anything protecting them. Which leads me to 4) upon closer inspection both lights had small dents in similar spots on the lights. As it didnt affect light output, ect... i didnt see the need to ship them back only to have to wait a month and a half to recive them back. Further more my seeds were ready to go.Now if the company wants to send out a discount that would be nice. Even a discount on future products. I do need a smaller light for extra coverage. As you can see on the 3 pictures of the light the damage is on similar spots but opposite sides of each light. Now for pictures.Update: The lights are going great. 3 week into flowering. Also would like to add. Customer service is very reasonable. They are quite prompt with messaging back. And answering question if any may arise. So i changed my 3 star to 4 star.Again very pleased with what im seeing grow under their lights.
