Adcraft BAR-3PC 3 Piece, 28 oz Capacity, Mirror Finish, Stainless Steel Bar Shaker Set

Not Sure whether to give this Two or Four Stars so I will go with Three... Since it is the first of its kind that I have owned, I do not have anything to compare too.Here is what I like: The fact that its stainless steal means that the drinks get super cold and almost frosty if this shaker which is the reason why I bought it.What I dont like about it: The first day I got it, I was excited to try it out so I began to wash it with a sponge and soap. My hand wasnt fully on the sponge and as I was washing the little shot glass that covers the top, the metal slit my finger open as it ran along the inside of the thing. This was because the metal is quite thin and it cut me open like a knife would. Im not sure if this happens with all of them or just this one because the metal is so thin.Needless to say, it does what is supposed to do and that is work as a mixer/shaker. BE CAUTIOUS with the edges when washing. Lord knows I no wash it with much caution and very slowly.

I am surprised at the people thinking they were getting two of these simply because there is a picture of it assembled and disassembled. You only get one shaker. They simply show you it assembled and then in three pieces. The one I received was in a box marked Winco and was a nice sturdy metal shaker, but the mirror finish was scratched. I went ahead and filled it with water to test it and proceeded to shake it over the sink. Smart move, because it leaked with every motion. I checked the cap and strainer, even took them off and tried again. Same thing. Leaks big time. No way do I want to wear my drinks or have to wipe them off the counter.

roommate had bought a plastic one at a store's going out of business sale and we broke it within a month. I was looking to replace it and was shocked to see that these stainless steel ones were cheaper AND more durable. I love this shaker because it gets drinks colder than the plastic one did, and we won't be able to manage to break it by sliding the lid on top too far. The picture can be misleading, because it pictures the full thing put together then the three separate pieces, but for those who do not clearly read the description: this does not contain two shaker sets.

It is great.It works 100% for the perpus I bought it for. Privacy. If you want to have a privet conversation in the room or in your car, carry one of these. Just put your cell phone in it, close it tight and the phone will not have reception. Therefore, not NSA or anybody else, can listen to you thru your speaker.Works perfect.I took off one star, because, it is a little thin. But, it still does the job 100%Get it.I recommend it.I bought 3.One for the house.One for the car.One for the office.!!!!!! Great gift idea, for your out of the box, thinking friends.

I really like this shaker. It is durable and when I shake it with my ice and drink inside, the lid and cap stay on tight. Because its stainless steel, it keeps the liquid nice and cold while shaking and using. It is also large enough that I can make several drinks at once. I did omit one star because the strainer on top is flat which after shaking a drink and removing the cap, some of the shaken liquid spills down the sides of the shaker and I have to keep a towel handy. If the strainer were recessed just a bit, I think any residual liquid would just flow back into the shaker.

What a joke. The very function this shaker was designed for, it fails miserably at. It does, however, succeed in frustrating the user endlessly with the mess it makes when used. The strainer cap fits over the top in such an odd way that it allows for a tiny bit of liquid to be left just under the cap after shaking, which upon removal, spills out and runs down the sides of the lid. Especially annoying with sticky/sugary drinks. But wait! There's more! The strainer cap itself does not form a tight seal around it's lip, and with some vigorous shaking, (as is its intended purpose) liquid spills out around all edges of the lip. This was purchased for use in a bar, with constant testing and disapproval.Look elsewhere, and spend a little more. This item should be for display only...

At home, I have a really nice Ketel One shaker. But my boyfriend has a simple metal one that is impossible to open when the cold causes the metal to expand and didn't have a strainer.This one was similar, yet different, because it works. We used it a few times since and the metal doesn't expand and make it impossible to open the cap to strain your drink into the glass.Definitely worth the price.

The taper between the strainer and shaker cup is *way* too tight when closed. I suspect that the manufacturing tolerances on the drafted sheet metal are too large and quality control is non-existent. I returned mine as defective and ordered a more expensive shaker of the same design from another company on Amazon, apparently you get what you pay for.
