I almost gave these a 5 star because they're really nice reading glasses. I would say they feel as sturdy as my prescription glasses that I paid 20 times the price for. Long story short, I've wore prescription glasses off and on for 5 years but never consistently wore them because the prescriptions didn't seem right. The answer was right in front of me. I really didn't need prescriptions. I needed a slight magnification and something to protect my eyes from all the digital screens I look at. I used to go for eye tests at 8 AM, after being up all night, working on the computer. My eye tests would come back bad and the optometrist would write me a prescription far stronger than what I needed. It dawned on me after several years. My need for magnification is also low. Seems to be somewhere between +1.00 and +1.25. I liked the look of these glasses and the fact that that they fit wide heads so I took a chance and ordered the +1.50. The lower options were sold out at the time. They are way too strong. I'll take the blame on that part but I did take a star off because there's no tint on the glasses. I wanted a minimal tint and the pictures show it but the pair that was sent to me are plain reading glasses ... nice ones, but it's not what I ordered.On the positive side, the frames as mentioned, are very sturdy. These glasses come with a nice mid-level zip hard case, comparable to Ray Ban cases, a microfiber cloth and as others have mentioned, these have spring hinges, fits good on a big head, even fits comfortably, the silicone nose pads are a nice touch but no tint and +1.50 is just way too strong for me. I ordered a different pair in the +1.00 but did want to mention what good quality these glasses are, especially for the price.

Great size for an adult! Wide enough to not pinch my fat head. I've been using anywhere from 132mm to 138mm wide (5-3/8in on the inside between temple hinges) across the front frame (measured at the outside of temple hinges). But these leave an indentation at the end of the day, once I remove them. These, hopefully, will not because they are 140mm wide (5-5/8in on the inside).So let's add up the Pluses...Great size.Coated to prevent eye-strain while using your computer.Titanium frame.Half-rim cuts down the weight further.What more can you possibly want?Oh, wait...Don't forget the hard case and microfiber cleaning cloth.And the fact that there's very little / no appreciable yellow tint to these. I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair today.

My eyes did not feel strained after being on the computer... Ipad... and cell phone all day... ithe glasses worked great!

Took a little while to get here, but overall pretty good quality.

These glasses work. No more headaches. Seem to hold up well. Only had about a month. But I would recommend.
