Nana Flakes Anti-Diarrheal Banana Powder

No clumping ever and easy to mix up. Tastes just like bananas. Does a good job as a bulking agent in the intestines. Although expensive, you get what you pay for. You can stretch out the servings by using equal amounts of Happy Andes Organic Banana Powder. which has a mild banana taste. There are many clumps in this one, however, if you measure out what you want then pour it into your palm, you can break up the clumps with your fingers with the other hand and it will blend nicely.

Glad I found this as caregiver for elderly, has reduced bowel incontinence to almost never by firming-up the stool: two spoonful in morning cereal.

I tried this instead of the more expensive version because the other has an ingredient that exacerbated my IBS. I honestly had low expectations because nothing works perfectly for me. Well.. this stuff isn’t perfect but it’s pretty good. I was in a flare when I started and while it might not have stopped the urgency completely, it really did help the tenesmus and time spent in the bathroom. It also does help with frequency and consistency, so that is a huge improvement.

I haven't yet decided whether to eat this powder. It is shipped in a zip lock bag, inside a paper bag. Very fine powder, tan in color, that tastes nothing like Banana, more like sawdust (I know the taste of sawdust, I'm a carpenter!). The packaging reminds me of a product which remains under the grindstone until an order is placed, then shoveled into a zip lock. Will probably just dump it. Certainly can't recommend it. I might be wrong, but won't take that chance. BTW, it does look just as in the photo. Perhaps it's just old.

Oh my. This is soooo good! I use it to thicken some strawberry applesauce for my dad. Tastes awesome. I add it to some apple juice and drink it. What a nice sweet treat. I’ve told a bunch of people about this. I’d definitely buy it again.

I have severe IBS-D. I have been using this product for a few months. So far it works just as well as the more expensive brand. I use this product along with a Low Fodmap Diet. I started with 1 scoop twice a day and now I use 1 scoop once a day. I have had to use an imodium a few times, but that has coincided with my time of the month. Sorry guys. Lol

Tastes great, I mix it with unsweetened almond milk. Packs a sufficient source of mental energy. I order this for the health benefits bananas provide. Information on the back of the bag says 2 "heaping" tablespoons is equivalent to 1 banana. I find it a little too vivid to be completely on point with that description. I would say it's compared to that of a small banana. I usually use about 4 tablespoons and that's a serving I prefer. Overall I am satisfied with the product, will occasionally buy again!
