Easy read!
Super easy to read, really enjoyable. Lots of useful information that you can refer back to anytime. It’s was quite eye opening, and highlighted things that I do that I’ve not been completely aware of, which is amazing. It’s thought provoking and has helped me learn and understand myself better!

Straightforward & to-the-point but not groundbreaking or revolutionary
Do I regret the purchase? No (see what I did there ;) Jokes aside, on one side of it, it's not intended to be a groundbreaking story with revolutionary, life-changing gems hidden inside. It's intended for the everyday individual. It serves as a simple reminder of the importance of boundaries and just that, a simple reminder. By the time I finished the first section, it was clear that the book was going to be just a refresher of concepts I already knew but nonetheless a nice little read which someone could complete in one sitting within a couple of hours. On the other hand, the rating was given for the reason listed in the title; it's just not the kind of book I expected. I was hoping for something much more engaging. As nice of a title as it sports, it lacks depth. It's quite basic and in some regards may be seen as a bit of a "throw-away" pamphlet of simple pre-existing concepts. I was hoping for something more intellectually stimulating, something which challenged me and my values, but instead, it rather just touched on simple stories and supposed anecdotal references, most of which considering we are in the age of the internet, I easily could have found similar in a quick Google search or YouTube video. I've been left fairly disappointed with the book in that regard. I wouldn't be inclined to recommend it.

An excellent book for high school graduates, especially for those who are acquiescent to everyone around them. We all need to stand for what we believe is right.

Enjoyable is maybe the last word to think of with the title of this book. Damon Zahariades makes the topic accessible in a clear and light fashion. Suddenly the previously heavy feeling about saying no can be released. I can understand so much better and feel strengthened to develop new habits. Thank you so much for sharing this story!
