Size Name:3-5/8 INCH The Grabber Saddle Plate is designed to fit on top of Mono Post Steel Columns. The Saddle Plate supports the wood beam on the bottom and allows for the through connection of fasteners into the side of the beam.

Great product, a wee bit large
There is a little extra space in the saddle, using regular lumber sizes, that needs to be padded out.Otherwise, top notch quality.

I used this as part of a bearing wall removal. Worked as expected. Sizing was accurate.

Be sure it fits your posts
Pricey but well made. Welded studs did not fit hole pattern on my posts and size makes it not possible to re-drill post plate to fit. Need to buy posts by same company.
