New Balance Women's W850v1 Running Shoe

Wonderful shoe! This is my second pair. I foolishly bought my first pair of these shoes in black from a well known shoe site because I was there looking for something else that Amazon didn't have. Then I found the exact model shoe in grey from Amazon at almost half the price I had paid for the black shoe. Will not make that mistake again. Always check Amazon first! This shoe is well cushioned with removable insole. For my wide foot the toe box is perfect because some styles of shoes with the vinyl decor running up over the toes seem to rub against my top toe area. The simple style of this toe box exterior is perfect. The shoe material itself is very cool and you can feel the breeze through the top of the shoe if you are wearing thin socks. Not sure how these would be in rain since we are not getting much in California. I normally wear a size 9 Wide but purchased the 9 1/2 Wide in this shoe per advice of podiatrist (who only wears New Balance brand for walking or running) as I find that the orthotic I add for plantar fasciitis takes up a bit more room. I think that without an orthotic a size 9 Wide would be perfect so I would say they are true to size. I have regular size 9 Wide foot with wide toe area and narrow heel and very high arches.

I own two pairs of New Balance running shoes in different colors and I love them. When I saw the half price Black Friday deal, I grabbed another pair. I wear a half size larger in these than I do in regular shoes, but the fit is perfect. Doesn't constrict my toes, cushions my feet so I can walk for long distances without arch pain. They're also rather stylish. I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

I bought these when they were the deal of the day and am so glad I did! I'm a fan of New Balance in general but find many of their shoes clunky. I decided to invest in some running shoes, though, because I hope to do more of that. Glad I did! These are low profile, very cute, extremely comfortable with the cushioning and breathable upper. As another reviewer said, essentially no break in time (I wore them around the house for 30 minutes before heading to the gym for my usual cardio). Looking forward to buying a few more pairs as I begin running more!

I have a narrow to medium width foot due to slight bunions, high arch and narrow heel. I use an orthotic insert. These shoes hug my heel, are nice and cushy and are only a bit too wide in the forefoot (but okay with athletic socks). Might not offer enough support without orthotics for some, but the insole could be swapped out for a Dr Scholl's athletic insole (which I use in other athletic shoes I am not using orthotics in). I usually wear a 10 1/2 these days (shoes are running larger than they used to--I used to wear an 11), and the 10 1/2 is perfect.

You get what you pay for. I wear a 9.5-10. I ordered a size 10 and they fit well. They were cheap so i cant be disappointed but they look kind of cheap. Theyre not u comfortable but not super comfortable either. They also are starting to wear on the inside heel and i havent worn them thst much.

When they say these have "Cush" they meant it! So cushy and comfy. I work in healthcare and am on my feet all day and these are great. They have a nice stretch to them too which make them easy to get on. At first I thought the heel was hitting too high on my ankle but I stopped feeling it about 10 minutes into wearing them. Essentially no break in time. And they look cute with my scrubs--not too clunky! The only word of caution I have is that the navy has more of a purple tinge to it than I was expecting, so it's not as "neutral" as a lot of navies.

I love New Balance shoes because they provide a lot of support for flat feet without being a bulky or heavy shoe. They fit just as I expected. They were comfortable the moment I put them on. Walking around in them it's like I'm not wearing any shoes. I can't wait to go running in them. I would recommend these shoes to anyone that needs a little more arch support and for those looking for a lightweight running shoe. New Balance is my go to running shoe brand.

I bought these in blue and HAD to get another pair. The most comfy running shoes I've ever owned! They fit as expected and the bright pink is a nice addition to the shoe. I purchased April 2015 and only in the last month or so has the inside back part, where my heel is, started to degrade. For reference, I wear every other day for 8-10 hours. Good value for a quality product.
