Great price. Much cheaper than the generic at Walgreens. This is a second purchase. We will continue to re-order unless the price goes up substantially with tariffs.

Loratadine or Claritin is very Slow Acting. It takes several hours to work. If you think it works faster, then read up on it. What you're experiencing is the "Placebo Effect".Do not take 2 or 3 times the recommended amount, thinking that will help. It won't. It will raise your blood pressure. What you need to do, is take this once a day, as recommended. Then, if you have a sudden sneezing fit or problem with allergies, take One 10mg Cetirizine tablet. They're cheap and you can get a small bottle to keep on hand. The reason Cetirizine (Zyrtec) will help you, is that it works differently and works IMMEDIATELY on allergies. When I had taken Zyrtec for years and it had stopped working for me, an immunologist told me to try this. Take the Loratadine tablet daily and the Cetirizine only when needed.I do recommend this, but again for me, it worked best if I used it with the Cetirizine when needed. These had worked well for me during the spring/summer for the last couple years, but I saw no reason to keep taking them in winter. That was until this past winter when I experienced terrible winter itch that had me constantly scratching during the day. I tried lotions and humidifiers but they only brought short relief and were time consuming. I then read that antihistamines can sometimes relieve winter itch so I tried taking these again, and the side effects went away completely on day ONE. Very much a quality of life saver.

Quality was what I expected. My son takes Claritin year round because he’s allergic to practically everything. Ease of swallowing and taste are good. My son has never complained. However, this is a generic Claritin, not generic Benadryl. This will not work for a sleep aid!
