Installed on a 2005 Buick LaSabre. It's on top of the engine, just underneath the beauty cover. YouTube has a couple of videos showing how to replace. Took about a half hour, but I work slowly.

Bought this for a 2000 bonneville after purchasing a cheaper brand that was junk and had me chasing my tail with evap codes. Very easy to install, doesn't leak,fits perfectly, save yourself the trouble and just buy a quality part the first time.

Fixed the vacuum leak on the 4.2L trailblazer. The package didn't have ACDelco gold seal on it. I assume that it was NOS. It appeared to be the same as the OEM unit removed.

I own a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with a GM 3800 Series 2 N/A. Back in December it was giving me a P1441 code for the purge valve being stuck so naturally I replaced the factory one with this. Well, not long after I started experiencing worsening conditions. The car would randomly stall 5-10 minutes after starting after it had sat overnight. Every time I filled up the gas tank, the car wouldn't start and to add injury to insult it would backfire and cause the tube that goes into the throttle body to pop out. Two days ago it shredded that tube. Finally had enough of playing part-shotgun with this car, so I decided to double check on this valve with a vacuum gun and sure enough, it wouldn't hold a vacuum. Even worse, sometimes it would, sometimes it would slightly hold a vacuum and other times you could blow through this a straw. Absolute junk. Replaced it with a new one and everything seems to work okay. We'll see how long this lasts but Dorman has now sold me two faulty items out of the box (the other being a crankshaft position sensor). Do yourself a favor and get an AC Delco. Then you at least know it's up to GM quality.

Engine light gone🥰

Replaced my old charcoal canister. I could see the difference immediately. Engine runs smoother and more even. Install is easy. Took not even 10 min. Engine light went away. Excellent

I've always regarded AC-Delco as a high quality brand and this EVAP purge valve was no exception. I previously purchased the Blue Driver OBDII code reader on Amazon. When my Check Engine Light came on recently the code reader identified the problem as the EVAP system having incorrect air flow. A little homework and then I bought this EVAP purge valve, installed it, cleared the Check Engine Light with Blue Driver and it has not come back on in the past three weeks of driving. Good stuff.
