This laptop is amazing for it function and value. I'm so happy with the lit keyboard, super-fast boot time, and the built in numeric keypad. The weight of the laptop, the lid closure, and the feel of the keyboard are all tremendous! This feels like a very high-quality laptop! The screen resolution and refresh rate a baller. The sound quality is AWESOME! At 15.6" the screen is huge for a laptop and makes reading and viewing a lot easier. 100% groovy!

Yeah, I'm very pleased with this purchase! My laptop was delivered 13 days earlier than expected and it is in excellent condition. The seller even threw in a pretty decent set of earbuds. It was shipped very well protected, powered right up, and is functioning perfectly. Not a scratch on it and the screen is outstanding. I'm going to order a desktop from this seller because this laptop was a steal for the price I paid. 5 stars to this seller!! I read the 1 star reviews and thought I was going to get a piece of junk, not the case here at all!! Highly recommend!!

Dell provides good laptop, computers. I just retired. I needed a home computer for a various projects and this one seems to be perfect. The one thing I did notice when a friend of mine helped set it up, is that the screen sometimes will blank out. I don’t know if that’s my Internet connection but otherwise, it appears to be a decent computer.

Very happy so far with this laptop. It's been used daily for business. The battery lasts a few hours without being charged. I like the keyboard for typing as well as the camera for telehealth.

As my old Dell laptop, going on 5 years now, is beginning to shows it's age, I knew that I needed a replacement one that could offload my current programs to. This replacement laptop has top quality features, is very portable, connects via WiFi wherever I am and has plenty of keyboard functionality that I am looking for. I have found that this brand is reliable and well made and would recommend this product to anyone!

I bought it 10 days ago to be able to work while traveling and it’s already not turning on. It simple died and won’t charge anymore! Complete junk and I’m in Vietnam unable to work. Do yourself a favor and buy something else!!

Some of the reviews made me cautious, but I am very pleased with this laptop and would recommend it. Very fast, very powerful, it exceeds my requirements. My son set it up for me and it was completely ready to go in about 60 minutes. The screen is bright and clear. Great price, great laptop.

Excellent, fast, dependable computer

The Dell laptop performs as you would expect from Dell. I only use the computer for internet, Microsoft Office, and Youtube. In testing the product on these apps, there were no issues and I am pleased with this product. Speakers are also of good quality. Backlit keyboard also comes in different lighting thresholds for a nice touch. Touchpad is also receptive to the touch and doesn't overcompensate. Battery life is about three hours. Thank you Amazon and Dell for another quality laptop.

I needed a new laptop to replace my three year old ASUS laptop which was rendered DEAD by my Security Suite. I had used a DELL laptop at work and my experience using it was better than my experience using the ASUS laptop, which had some weird idiosyncrasies when I first got it, but ASUS BIOS updates over the past two years did rectify most of those issues. Because of my experience with my DELL work computer, I decided to replace the ASUS with this DELL laptop. I received my new DELL DC15250 laptop two weeks ago, just after midday, but only powered it up for the first time around 9pm the same day. I expected to go through a simple setup procedure, then see the Desktop as I have done many times in the past for our other computers. Normally, once the Desktop appears, I would then proceed with updates. After powering up this DC15250 laptop, and selecting the Language and Keyboard, the next step was to install updates (seemed like an unusual step since I am accustomed to updating after the Desktop appears). So I clicked "Update" and waited, and waited. After 2-1/2 to 3 hours, I finally saw the Desktop appear but by then it was close to midnight and I decided to call it a night and shutdown the laptop. The following night I finally decided to give the new laptop a test drive, but after booting to the Desktop, I noticed that there were more updates waiting to be installed. Upon opening Windows Update, I counted 31 additional updates, most being DELL driver updates, three were BIOS updates and a few were actual Windows related updates. Well, I let it run its course, which took hours, and by the time the updates were done, it was again close to midnight so I hit the shutdown button again. Well, over the past two weeks, I've installed several additional driver updates (DELL, do driver updates ever stop?), and some Windows updates, including 25H2. And today, another driver update and a security update that took about an hour. I was planning on looking at a video that might help fix my defunct ASUS laptop today, but after the one hour update, I lost my enthusiasm and again shut it down. This is now the most updated computer I have ever owned and over the past two weeks I've used it for one week and it has spent the other week doing updates (or so it seems). Hopefully, going forward, I'll actually be able to use the computer. We have several other non-Dell Windows 11 computers in the household and all of them install updates much faster than the DC15250 laptop so I am not sure why this DELL stagnates when installing updates. Now, during the time that I have managed to use the new Dell laptop, it more than handles my current needs, which involves internet research, email, watching videos, and Photoshop. I have yet to install any CPU demanding software on it and I do not play games, but the display is fine for what I do and it is fast enough. Sound quality is ok but the speakers are on the bottom, which I don't like. Once the Power Management is setup properly, it's possible to get over four hours of battery life on a charge. It comes with two Type A USB ports (one Super Speed), one USC-C port, an HDMI port, earphone jack and a SD card slot. Note that it lacks an RJ45 ethernet port so you will always use a WIFI connection. Compared to my ASUS laptop with a faster CPU, more ports and a 1TB solid state drive, this DC15250 is slower and has less half the storage, but my major beef is the amount of time it has spend updating. Hopefully the amount of time spend updating will eventually abate as it catches up on updates. If you are in the market for a budget friendly laptop, I would still recommend this Dell DC15250.
