PreserveShave 5 Five Blade Refillable Razor, Made from Recycled Materials, Neptune Green

Years ago I started having horrible reactions when I shaved with any razors. Due to nickel, even the hypoallergenic ones or titanium, would cause me to itch horrible for 2 weeks, with blood and Mark's everywhere, from me scratching. Where benadryl would not help in the slightest. Kept me from sleeping, how bad it itched. These razors are the only ones I found that dont cause me any reaction. They are a little cheap, but if it gets the job done for now.

The razors come in a case within the wrapper which is convenient. They stay on the handle really well and stay sharp for a decent amount of time. I originally bought them because I thought they had a recycling program to try and reduce waste but upon reading their website more, it’s only for tooth brushes. I appreciate the recycled materials though.

I’ve been using this razor for almost one year. One package of refills lasted an entire year and it works very well. The handle it better quality than brands like Venus and the five blade gives a close but gentle shave everywhere. It also stays cleaner than Venus, nothing gross behind the razor blades accumulates. I leave it in the shower face up to dry. I have dropped it at least 12 times and the razor comes off but can easily be put back.

Let's face it, this is a razor, either it gets the job done or it doesn't. This one does the job for which it is intended and is easy to use in the shower. It is easy to maneuver around ankles and knees and does not require multiple passes to remove the stubble. The eco feature was a selling point for me, as well.

I have been using these razors for the past few years and LOVE them. I have had the same handle for about 2 years (bye bye plastic waste) and get these refills when needed. I feel like I don't burn through razors as quickly as well. 1 Cartridge will last a great deal longer than traditional store-bought disposable razors. Maybe a slightly higher upfront cost but you will get more quality uses out of these while also being a good human and helping eliminate. excess waste! Highly recommend.

I LOVE the Preserve razor! I was getting terrible rashes on my legs after shaving, and it turns out that I'm allergic to the nickel that's in conventional razors. Now my rash and itching is gone.When I first tried Preserve razors years ago, I didn't like them, but they've made amazing improvements to their design. Now they are more stable than Venus and other conventional women's razors I've tried in the past.I love that they're eco-friendly, which is also why I use and love the Preserve toothbrushes - plus they're BPA free. All good!

Other reviews have stated that these blades rust quickly. I don't find that to be the case. Simply pat the razor dry on a towel and put it back in the case it came in after every use and you shouldn't have this problem. If you leave it sitting in water or on a wet surface, sure it'll probably rust. Just don't be sloppy! There are too many bad reviews that are due to user error, not due to the product itself.

This brand is great because I've had the same razor neck for 4 years and they keep the heads fitting properly. I just reorder the heads as needed. I love that the plastic part is made from recycled yogurt containers. Going metal razor seems the most environmentally friendly over time, but if you are on a budget, and need the moisturizing component to a razor, then this is a great choice!

I have severe nickel allergy and reacted to all razors but had to just put up with the unbearable underarm itch after shaving - THESE ARE THE ONLY RAZORS I HAVE NOT REACTED TO AT ALL!!!! AMAZING!!! Definitely buy if you have nickel allergy - worth the extra few ££
