Ink doesn’t last
Ink doesn’t last very long. I have class 2 hrs twice a week for the semester and have already changed my ink 2 times. Ends up being a little pain and expensive

ink's fine but fails to transcribe electronically!
I'm writing notes for an exam and had to get new ink and this is my first time not buying in best buy. I was so thrilled to see the fresh new bold ink on my Livescribe notebook... and then I connected my echo smart pen to my computer just to see the page blank on the screen. I had to rewrite my notes with my old going-out ink cartridges.- I like to see what I write along with the recording in both places. My being thrilled was short-lived, I tried twice to make sureI am disappointed:(DON'T BUY IT UNLESS YOU DON'T WANT IT TO RECORD ON LIVESCRIBE DESKTOPbtw- I bought my first ink cartridge from BestBuy years ago and they did not have any indication of china, these do( the packet has the Chinese character) - I thought that was weird but bought it away because the brand said Livescribe.guess I'm going back to Bestbuy and pray I find them like the first ones I bought

They leaked
When they arrived they had leaked. A big mess

Ink runs out too quick (never starts well either)
They fit perfectly but after one month of use, the ink always comes and goes, never writes smooth. I was hoping that they would "wear in" after some writing but they aren't getting any better. I would look elsewhere for more reliable ink refill solutions
