Update: After receiving the replacement unit from the company and using it consistently for more than 6 months, I increased my rating. I likely had a faulty unit originally as this replacement keeps going. I also appreciate the willingness of the manufacturer to provide a replacement product at no charge. Highly recommend.Original review: This worked great for just under 6 months. It has the option to either combo steam/froth milk OR cold froth milk, and I only ever used the steam/froth option. I used it about 3 times per week, was very easy to use (and clean) and it added a wonderful touch to my morning coffee. Had I written this review months ago, I would have rated it higher, however, one morning the function I use just didn't work. The cold froth option still works, but I like my milk steamed, and the combo is the only reason I purchased this unit.I looked everywhere on Amazon for a way to message the seller, and even contacted Amazon to find a way to message the seller, but they couldn't find one either. I finally found my original manual which had the email address, and after sending the manufacturer a video of the malfunction, they have agreed to send me a replacement unit- which is why I'm leaving this review. If they follow through, and my replacement outlives my original, I'll update my rating.

I've worked at three different coffee shops (I even managed a Starbucks for a bit) since 1992, and I've owned dozens of home coffee brewers and espresso/cappuccino makers over the years. I know and love coffee! But lately I've been wanting to clear some counter space, and my big, fancy, expensive Breville Barista Express just doesn't work the way it used to. So I thought, hey, I'll go back to a basic Moka pot for my coffee...and maybe one of those electric milk frothing pitchers. I'd never tried these pitchers before, so I looked closely at all the ones Amazon recommends, and I read tons of customer reviews before deciding on this one. And it works like a dream! It's sturdy and quiet, and it comes with two attachments--one for lattes (which will give you more milk than froth) and one for cappuccinos (which will give you more froth than milk). It also froths cold milk but I haven't tried that feature and I'm not sure I'll ever need it, but who knows. Cleaning it is easy because the interior is non-stick, but DO clean it immediately after use! Absolutely don't submerge the unit in water, but do swish a little tap water around inside and pour it out, then wipe out the interior with a damp sponge or paper towel. You'll find that there's a little "skin" of milk on the bottom, which is totally normal. This will peel right up. Then swish a little more clean water in there, pour it out, and wipe with a dry paper towel. Voila. Love this thing!

This is a nice little machine. I've had mine for around 10 months with almost daily usage. It works wonderfully for frothing, as long as you use whole milk. Doesn't work so well with low-fat or almond milk but that is not a fault of the machine. It can only work with the liquid you give it. The frother will froth the milk with or without heating it, depending on the setting you use. All in all, it's a fine machine and works exactly as advertised.I've used mine almost exclusively with the heating element and in the last few weeks the rocker switch appears to have broken such that the heating portion no longer works. The machine will still froth the milk but it will no longer heat it. I was only going to give four stars given that I would have expected the machine to last considerably longer, but that said,I reached out to the customer support and they are sending me a free replacement. So five stars it is.

This is our third Sayeso foamer in a year and a half. It foams milk really well but the cleaning process is extremely important in maintaining the unit. You have to clean it after each use because there's always a residue of burnt milk at the bottom of the container. The first unit stopped working after about four months. I suspect we got some water near the electrical connection on the outside of the unit. The second one lasted exactly one year and we replaced it because the coating on the inside of the unit wore off from the daily cleaning. Again, it works well but don't count on it to last for years.
