Movie worked great. Haven’t seen this in years and so I bought it. Worked great. Still very disturbing, but an amazing performance by everyone.

Bought this as a gift for the wife. Immediately she found it to not be just nostalgic but also very powerful. Lovely movie over all we had some great laughs and good reflecting moments. They don’t make em how they use to. Ohio hood classic.

Decent picture quality and a nice addition to my collection. Movie was alright but the soundtrack is the best part imo lol

Very weird uncomfortably disturbing movie.

I watched this movie while eating a big bowl of beef ravioli one afternoon about 5 years ago. I think it was a Tuesday. All my silverware was dirty and I didn't feel like washing myself a fork so I used a pair of unused chopsticks leftover from takeout chinese food a couple nights before. I don't know if any of you have used chopsticks to eat beef ravioli before, but it is a bit of a challenge. Maybe some of you have eaten beef ravioli with chopsticks and found it to be easy, but I did not. Honestly, I'd give my chopstick skills 3 out of 10 stars, just so you all have a frame of reference in understanding the difficulty I suffered. Anyway, the beef ravioli was cold in the center because I hadn't cooked it as long as I should have. My wife normally cooks my beef ravioli, but I'm pretty sure she was getting her nails done that afternoon and so I had to cook it myself. We didn't have any napkins in the house so I used toilet paper to wipe my face while I ate. Halfway through the movie my mom called and I answered and talked to her for the entire length of the last half of the movie and we had a pretty good conversation about my uncle Randy and the hotdog place he'd just opened on 6th street, next to the laundry mat.

I like the randomness of it, it feels like real life for some people, sure many can relate. I enjoyed it.

I actually ordered this because the copy I'd had for years up and disappeared. Obviously, I enjoy it enough to have wanted it replaced.It is a harrowing look into the life of mainly 2 young men who kill cats for money and sell them. They find out that they have some competition from another local boy whom they confront. Basically the boys are a focal point of the movie. Their adventures of paint huffing, riding bikes around town and breaking & entering are all documented. There are also many other characters and short stories strewn about. Even a scene with the writer/director Harmony Korine, himself, actually drunk and telling stories of his childhood with his mother. Professional skater & legend Mark "The Gonz" Gonzalez has a cameo hanging out with a bunch of dudes and some chick's who partake in arm wrestling and beating up a chair.Some parts aren't for the faint of heart. There are scenes that may even disgust some viewers, like spaghetti eating in dirty bathwater. If it is viewed as a spectacle and a novelty film, none of it will bother you but rather entertain you, maybe even make you smile with its dark humour and occasional heart warming commentary about beauty and life or fragility thereof.I first saw this when I was about 16 (almost a decade and half later now) and I've had a soft spot for it since.

My granson was very surprised that he got this for Christmas. He said it was hard to find because it is a older movie.

Strangest movie i've ever seen by far , makes Eraserhead look main stream . More like a documentary really , a very strange one at that . Glad i watched it , definitely not for cat lovers .
