Good stuff to use in mycology. I use in a CVG mixture. No noticable smell, size is good for what I need.

I have both vermiculite and perlite and use both for lightening up soil for various plants. This is less dusty than perlite.

Was able to use it well for my home plants for this winter. Easy usage and organic content. Longevity noticed. Was able to retain moisture when gone for days out.

It's vermiculite and it does its job. It is uniform and easy to use. It's not terribly dusty, but you *should* wear a mask while using it so as not to inhale particles. It is low odor. I start seeds in it mostly, but I have also made a better potting soil by mixing in about 25% vermiculite. It helps avoid soil compaction and helps retain water for indoor plants. The size of the package is great! Not heavy at all. I think it was a decent value.
