If you are buying the Midnight Mystery it is important to note the dark blue undertones of it shine through. I ordered it as it showed up when searching for black lipstick and the images online looked dark black. It is a pretty tone but is very much a deep dark blue lipstick and not pure black. I like it overall but if your goal is a black color I would choose a different lipstick.
