WHAT A BARGAIN!!!
I mean really, what a bargain. I purchased these mostly for the smaller hooks and they are wonderful. The flat handle is very comfortable and the metal hooks are of decent quality. I haven't had much to do with the full bamboo ones since I already have hooks for all of the gauges of regular yarn I use. I suspect the lightness of them might be a little discombobulating since I'm used to metal hooks. I wouldn't be surprised if they need a bit of sanding, but really, it's not that big a deal to sand down a bit of roughness, especially at this price point. The case is almost trash, but I gutted the cheap plastic innards and lined it with cotton and some proper elastic to hold the hooks. I've shoved my other hooks in there too and everyone fits just fine even if they don't all have a slot. Shame it's so cheap or I could've successfully made it into a folio. But really, this set is worth it for the lace hooks alone. There are no words to describe how much I love them and how much use I've had from them after only a few months.

Great buy!
I am so happy with these hooks! As soon as I opened them I had to go try them out! The bamboo is so smooth and light weight. I also like how they aren’t coke like the metal hooks I’m used to. I was concerned at first that they wouldn’t hook the yarn easily, but I was able to zip through stitches quickly without a problem. I also love the larger ergonomic handles on the smallest hooks. This will help my stamina in lace work. The tiny hooks always make my hands tired after a little work. The carrying case is awesome too! It’s small, but I can still throw a small pair of scissors and a sewing needle in there- and I’m all set to go! Everything is easy to find and organized. Definitely a great buy!

Good for the price
The bamboo hooks do catch a bit on your yarn, so just make sure you're not crocheting too tightly, and you won't have an issue with it. Alternatively, you could sand them down if you have the patience! The bamboo handles on the small hooks are very nice. The hooks themselves are not too sturdy, though, so you don't want to use them for any yarns or tightness that might require a bit more muscle. If you're looking for something sturdier for tough yarns or weaving something that might require a bit of pulling & tugging (tassles, macrame, etc.), I'd suggest looking for stainless steel hooks.Overall, they were worth the affordable price. The case is cute, but all the plastic holders are coming loose. I may reinforce it with better materials, since it has been useful for other tools like pliers and scissors.

Wife loves it
With everything going on in the world my wife and I have been at home for a while finding things to do. As such, she decided it would be a cute and great idea to try crocheting together and having a little competition. I bought these since the price was low and it seemed like it came with a good variety of things. Turns out it was really great! With the multiple of sizes I didn't have to worry about not having the right size hooks and the bag that comes with it helps me keep organized. Even my wife was jealous so I had to buy her one too. Easy to use and has a good grip. It doesn't really slip while using. I would recommend this for those who are starting out since the price is good.

Rough spots that snag yarn require fine sanding.
These hooks are a very light weight, well balanced and comfortable to use. Now for the down side that took 2 stars from my rating: the wood on the hooks have rough spots that snag yarn and require fine sanding and polishing. I don't care how cheap a product is (in every sense of the word in this case), it should still be finished for the purpose of the product, not left half completed for the purchaser to finish (unless of course you're buying it specifically to finish it yourself). I went ahead and bought some sand paper in very fine grit to finish the job only because I love how lightweight and well balanced these crochet hooks are.

Surprisingly good quality for the price
I wasn't expecting much from these crochet hooks but I ordered them hopefully because this set had a lot of the smaller sizes I need for a few crochet projects. The case is nothing special but the crochet hooks are surprisingly good. The wood is smooth and splinter-free so nothing's gotten snagged on the yarn. I was afraid the thinner hooks without the paddle-style handles would feel too flimsy but they're strong enough for ordinary crocheting without feeling fragile. On the whole, for a new crocheter or one who'd like a second or spare set, I'd recommend these.

Best bang for your buck
At first, the hook does snag on the yarn, but if you sand it down a bit with a medium/fine grit nail file, it works fine. It does take time to get used to the lightweight hooks. I do fear that with time, the thin hooks since it is wood will snap. I loved how the number size is engraved in the wood rather than the typical stuff that can be rubbed off. The first thing I crochet was the tension regulator with the 3.5mm hook. The tip of the hooks is also much better for the double and triple crocheting than the metal ones.

Very good product for the price!
I mainly bought these as a backup set. Something cheap to take with me as I crochet on-the-go, that didn’t matter if lost. But I was pleasantly surprised by these hooks. They appear to be well-made and comparable to other bamboo hooks I’ve used. The case is kind of meh; cheaply made and soft. If anything crunches it, you run the risk of broken hooks. But, everything fits in there well and I’m not complaining for what I paid.

Good set for the price
Quite a nice set, with some hard-to-find larger sizes of hooks. The case is not the best quality (several of the inner partitions were split or had come undone from the backing) but does the job. Some of the hooks had slivers or rough spots on the inside of the hook itself, which was easily fixed with a nail file. Hooks are super light and comfortable to use. A nice alternative to metal hooks.

groove is not deep enough
It is nice to have various sizes to orient yourself to what size is best suited for the project, but the groove of the hook is not deep enough for easily catching the yarn while crocheting.

Poor Quality
I found they are a bit rough and catches in the yarn. I returned them.
