Activation was easy and quick, the signal was decent in most areas she traveled, Los Angeles, Vegas, and San Francisco. Phone calls to both US and China worked smoothly, and she liked the dual number feature so her friends in China could still reach her without using apps like WeChat. The included SIM adapter sizes were also handy since we weren’t sure what size her phone needed. That said, there were a couple of small hiccups. The data speed wasn’t super fast—fine for maps and messages, but streaming or video calls could lag a bit, especially when indoors. Also, while it says Wi-Fi calling is supported, we had mixed results depending on the network she was on.
