Great paint
FolkArt glitter line is awesome. The best out there.

The Red is a Yes!
If you want a glitter that REALLY sparkles and dries transparent without stickiness or flakes everywhere, this is your go-to. It works well on paper and wood. It’s not bulky or clumpy. Will definitely be a staple in my collection. Now it’s time to buy more colors!

Glitter is colored but paint behind it is not. It's like glitter glue.
Thanks to the previous reviewers, I knew what to expect...that the glitter is colored according to the bottle name, but the paint behind it is clear, so you need to paint a background color first if you want one. The glitters are fairly dense and true to color for the ones I've tried except Extreme Red seems to have some silver glitter in it. The Folk Art glitters are shinier and more stunning than their metallics. I've uploaded a color chart where I have painted several different kinds of acryllic paint and put different glitters over them (and painted the glitters by themselves). (Hologram is a greenish color glitter mixed with a little white. The white is more like a shiny pearlescent background than a glitter, but it's a transparent white.) DF stands for Folk Art's Dragonfly Glaze (red-violet-blue shift, but so far I haven't really seen any shift. Its color is more just dependent on the background color it's painted on. It has a bit of a pearlescent background too, almost white but picking up a tint of whatever color it picks up on the background.) DF glitter and Hologram may be a tiny bit finer grained glitter than silver, red, or turqoise, but that may be an optical illusion. All the glitters are intensely colored and fine grained. The other picture is of various splatter and painting techniques on blue construction paper. Flicking a loaded toothbrush, you don't get a large amount of the background glue showing through on the dark construction paper the way you do if you paint it on. (That wasn't an issue on the white watercolor paper for the most part). Overall, the Extreme Glitter paints are fun.

beautiful shimmer!
this is the prettiest glitter paint i’ve ever used. this is what it looks like with 2 coats of polyurethane. it is gorgeous, the only thing i have to say is it does look quite green on most colors but i don't mind it! it dries really quickly as well!!!

In Warehouse too long?
The sparkle is excellent but it smells bad. I believe this happens if it's outlived the shelf life.

It smells and acts more like a glitter glue, best for small projects
I made the great mistake of using this product on a large surface! It’s hard to spread out and dries in place VERY quickly so it gives a very uneven look, and as I was trying to coat evenly, but as I started spreading it out more, it started clumping up terribly. There’s a lot of good reviews so I had very high hopes, and this is my first time ever using glitter based acrylic paint, so it could just be my lack of knowledge on how to use it but it turned out pretty rough for me. The handle part turned out very nicely though so I did find it’s better in smaller quantity on smaller spaces. If you’re trying to paint a large wooden side of a box, I would not recommend. Maybe best for rock decorating or details on an art work? Definitely not for large projects. It also does have a mostly green sparkle that a lot of reviewers disliked in the holographic, but I liked that for the project I’m doing. *the first picture was before it dried, I unfortunately sanded it down before I even thought to take a picture of it dried but it was still white and clumpy* *second picture is of my handle that came out absolutely beautiful! I just wish the rest went on that well*

Great quality
Worked great for a school project. The kid loved the sparkles. It was easy to use, covered the object well, nice color and quality.

Diese Farbe ist meine Lieblingsfarbe und ich werde sie wieder bestellen. Die Ware kam schneller an als gemeldet. Die Farben sind sehr hoch pigmentiert und ideal um Steine zu bemalen.

Ça brille énormement, on voit dessuite le résultat. Petit bémol, ça colle un peu si on en met beaucoup.

I have used this on the wood of a violin bow to match the black glitter finish on my electric violin. A couple of things to mention: it goes on GREY and as it dries it gradually becomes quite clear. Because of this you may need to paint or stain the substrate first - I stained the original redwood of my bow black first, now it's black glitter. In the sun or under stage lighting the glitter really stands out. Met my requirement perfectly.

I haven't used this particular one yet. I'm not expecting there to be any problems with it as all the products I've had have all been great. Prompt delivery. Recommend products and seller
