I attached a picture of 1 led strip that I have hooked up. It is supposed to be 1 solid color across the entire strip but as you can see from the photo, the color varies between LEDs. I even tried attaching the second strip together, but when I hit a solid color (any) it is a different color than the first strip. When I press green with both connected the second strip doesn't even light up, I even tried a different connector, still doesn't work. Very poor design and quality control from this factory. I think I'll buy American made and dish out the extra cash for something that's supposed to work as intended.

Item was perfect for my needs on running under cabinet lighting in a kitchen.

If you are planning using the big coil of wire shown then you need additional components. Not something that is obvious from the product description.
