It's a very fine powder and it's very easy to mix into water or whatever you're cooking. I made some tea and stirred some in. I used to live in Thailand and had fresh galangal. We would cut a piece and pound it in a mortar. The strength is a big difference. For the price and labor savings this is fine. I still want fresh but it's hard to find and I guess I will have to start growing my own.

Tastes great. Smells great. Really boosts a soup or two. Don't use too much. Spices can cause GI issues based on what you are using, sometimes you should research these things before accidentally dumping too much into your soup and causing minor stomach pains for everyone. Yeah it tastes great, and we ate more of it, just be careful when measuring and not looking.

Using for some thai recipes that ask for it. It's a fairly large bottle and will last some time.

This is AMAZING! This seasoning is not only tasty but it did something I would never expect. It help with my INSIDES. I felt something after eating this and it was something good. I do not know it I was deficient i some nutrient or something but all I know is I felt pretty good after just placing it in my hand to taste it. I WILL purchase this product again IF it stays at the price point it is under right now. Man, try it. You will not be disappointed. IT TASTES GREAT!!!
