I bought this last year after struggling with wire tomato cages and strings. This product worked held up two giant tomato plants. The clips and wire twists it comes with made it easy to train the vines. It lasted all summer. I didn’t take it down after the season was over but it still held up through hurricanes and heavy snow. I washed the rods in the spring and reused them this year. A few bent a little but we’re still usable and strong. This year I bought more. I used it to support young trees and other plants in my garden. Very nice product. I think the rods are reliable like bamboo but even stronger.

I purchased these because I was planting tomatoes for the first time and knew I needed something to support the plants as they grew. This was a great option. The pieces themselves are sturdy and it's super easy to assemble them. Once assembled they do not provide quite enough support for a large tomato plant like the Big Boy plants I have. I additionally planted in containers and I think these would do better in ground instead. The bars connect with an open hook so a little wind on a heavy branch and the bar separates from the upright bar. Easy to put back but it can be annoying. I wanted these particularly because I thought they would do the job and for the most part they do, and because I liked that they can be packed back in their shipping box for storage. I would recommend these highly for smaller/lighter plants and probably more suited to in ground implementations. Overall it is a good product. Just make sure it meets your needs.

First time ordering this product. I grow tomatoes every year in a small garden. Even though I use supports, some of the tomato plants (indeterminates) grow to 6 feet tall. So we will see how these supports work in addition to my other supports. They are nice and neat and easy to assemble!

Put one together, very flimsy plastic. Haven't seen how it holds up when put to the real test. Will update review when done.

I enjoy using this trellis system. It's very sturdy and easy to put together for use. Also these stakes can be stored easily when not in use. The color really caught my attention and has proven strong throughout a couple of seasons so I came back to purchase another pack.

I brought my three heirloom tomato plants inside for the fall/winter/spring here in the high desert as we have a great south facing sliding door window where they are thriving and producing tomatoes! These 3 hunter green colored heavy duty plastic cages come packaged in three separate batches in plastic bags with the longer pieces themselves are rubber banded together and smaller pieces are in a plastic bag for each batch. Inside is also a simple instruction pamphlet showing how many of each part should be inside and how to assemble the cage. These cages are super easy to put together - takes 3 minutes each cage. You can also decide how tall to make each cage if plant vines are of different lengths. The connector cylinders made it easy to angle the bottom vertical stakes in my 3 pots, as they were quite a bit smaller in diameter than they should be for the width of the cages (I plan to get three larger pots for them shortly). Of course, I do not suggest you do this, as I did split one connector trying to force the angle, and they are not made to bend like that, so do yourself a favor and measure your pots' diameters to make sure they can accommodate the cages as completely straight. Anyhow, these are wonderful cages, easy to assemble and very sturdy. I will buy more before summer for the garden!

Easy to install

I ordered the 74” green trellis and it is not 74”. I am 5’5” and fully assembled it only came up to the top of my brow. Once it was secured in the ground it was at my chin. They seem sturdy enough and will do for my tomatoes, but I really needed that extra height because I know the variety I’m growing gets tall. Kind of disappointed to be honest.

I wasn't sure about these cage stakes-trelliss things. I adore them , you can build them to your needs, I have needed them for my cucumbers and tomatoes. They do a great job as long as you have a deep enough pot! Will be buying more!

These are great! Build as the plants grow taller. Very sturdy! Plants don’t move or fall even with high winds. Worth the price, reusable many times over. Built to last. Just ordered my 4th set.
