Q: Are these boots waterproofed for the winter?

they say they are but they are not. try the Irish Setter instead

Q: I am looking at what i believe to be the same boot on zappos. both claim to be "rust" color but look very different. are they the same?

I have owned at least 8 different pairs of the Timberland 53009. I have purchased them from probaly four different sellers, Every pair that I have ever received has been the same color, a brownish rust color
