I had given up crocheting when the arthritis and carpal tunnel set in. I really wanted to make some fun hats for my girls but had a hard time holding onto traditional crochet hooks for any length of time. I saw this set of hooks online for a very reasonable price and thought I'd try them. So glad I did. My hands still get tired but not painful like with traditional hooks. These hooks are so easy to hold and are well made. I'm on my fourth hat 5 weeks. It's relaxing for me after a long day at work. And the little case they come in is very handy!

I’m 80 and my hand hurts after crocheting awhile during the day. I started using the ergonomic hooks with great trepidation. I immediately noticed the hook fit my hand better, and was easier to use. My work flowed better. The best news......no pain. Also, my hand was not sore the next day. I cannot imagine going back to “regulat” hooks!

Has everything that is needed

These are my favorite crochet hooks because it's not necessary to grip the hook and they don't slide around in my hand. I can crochet for hours without my hand getting tired. They would be excellent for someone with arthritic hands. The only problem with them is that the size markings are barely readable. The markings are just stamped into the handle with no contrast so it must be held at just the right angle in just the right light.I like the carrying case to keep all the sizes together. With such a range of sizes I'm all set for any future projects.

I love to crochet, but with accelerating carpal tunnel AND osteoarthritis it was becoming more difficult to hold on to my traditional hooks for very long. These are terrific for ease of use and comfort. For the price they are amazing, includes all the typical sizes. Only complaint I have, is that I have to remember the conversion from mm to letters.

I am so happy to have found these hooks! Larger, cushioned base allows me to hold them easily and continue my passion! Have recommended them to many of my older fiends! 5 - smile rating!! :)

Works great not a problem with the hooks as far as they do the job. Only problem I see is the one with the gold flakes, the gold wears off pretty quickly and your left with a yellow spot.

I have crocheted for many many years and I’ve never had a crochet hook that was this smooth, did not split yarn and was so easy on my hands! If you are a beginner or a pro... you will love these hooks!
