I use these acrylic gel pens primarily on my woodworking projects, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my toolset. The colors are bright and vibrant, even on unfinished wood, and the ink flows smoothly without needing to shake or pump the pens — a huge time-saver. They’re easy to control and provide consistent lines across the whole set. The only minor downside is that if you press down too hard or hold the tip in one place too long, the ink can run out a bit quickly. That said, it’s a small issue and hasn’t affected my overall experience. If you’re working on detailed art or craft surfaces like wood, these pens are absolutely worth it.

12 color set- bought these to try and have since ordered the 48... Cons: - They are not really 3D like the Sakura Glaze or Soufflé gel pens, but have more texture than regular gel pens. - They are a bit odd at first, as you have to continually press down while using them to get consistent ink flow if you want to cover areas quickly, so you have to use them more like a crayon or pencil (great against a straight edge!). - Odd color palette but the black and white are awesome- I will see if the 48 yields better colors - somewhat difficult to get fine details Pros: - Very Opaque (picture: grid paper beneath is mostly hidden, only yellow needs another coat)- black and wh - Can layer over each other without scratching like regular gel pens if the under one is dry (error correcting much easier, can see where i went back and added black outlines in unfinished picture without any disturbance to underlying color) - Do not seem to take that long to dry*, dry more like an acrylic than a gel pen *(I live in AZ, its very dry here) - Tips don't clog like rollerball pens which is super nice for a thick ink pen

These pens are awesome! Bright, easy writing function and don’t blob. The colors are so amazing! Great value for the money!!!

pens are ok, they skip a lot on paper, and frequently stops letting any of the acrylic paint come out. The colors are kind of muted a little, I feel like they could be brighter, but the colors are still workable. Also, it does take some time for the paint from the pens to dry, so be careful with your hand placement while using them or you'll get it all over the side of your hand and then it will be all over the rest of your unfinished picture.

Every pen wrote smoothly the first time and the colors are vibrant.

For starters, be aware that they don’t dry quickly. If you’re using them to write, they’re gonna get smudged if you aren’t careful. Second, they work for about a day. They still LOOK full but they don’t write. No matter how much scribbling you do, no ink (paint) comes out. I didn’t leave the caps off, they just stopped working mid-sentence. I tried scribbling to make it work again. I tried coloring on water thinking the ball-point had some dried paint on it preventing it from moving. I tried the 90s/00s thing and blew on the end. Nothing. This has happened with multiple colors, not just one. Absolute trash. Now I have to spend gas money to go return it, lol.

When I received these I tried a few of them out to make sure they worked. A few seemed to write smoothly and the gel came out nicely. But there were also a few that were awful and scratchy. The ink wouldn’t come out easily and I kept having to shake them. In my opinion the colors weren’t great. I think there are better brands available for a better price.

Fantastic, glide on the page and dries super fast

These are amazing. The only issue I have had is one pen stopped working after the first use. So I think the ball dried out?
