I absolutely love these toothbrushes!!I had read a few mixed reviews saying that bristles can come out but I’m now sure that people with this problem are simply brushing too hard. Which is also bad for your gums and contributes to receding gums and sensitivity.I’ve had maybe one or two bristles come out in the first week or so and none since. I take care of my brush by thoroughly rinsing it and shaking off excess water and letting dry out. It’s lasting a long time. I occasionally use a very diluted Milton (used to sterilize baby bottles etc.) solution to clean the brush make sure that bacteria is not able to grow.I started using my brush around the end of April 2021, it is now July and this is the brush I have been using on the left versus a new one, unused on the right.My husband is a heavy handed brusher and often went through generic toothbrushes faster, as the nylon would warp. But his Gaia Guy brush looks the same as mine!Speaking for myself but not only has this brush made me feel good about not using plastic, I’ve improved my own oral health taking the time to brush more carefully, gently and thoroughly.I’ll definitely be purchasing these brushes again!If you like a soft bristle then use warm water to brush, if you like a slightly harder bristle then use cold water!

ナノプラスチックの心配が無く。環境にも優しいので購入しました。使用していると毛が抜けますが、磨き心地が良いいので気になりません。

２月に買って、4カ月経ちますがまだ一本しか使用してません。一本あたりはプラ製と比べると高いですが、こんだけ長持ちするならプラより安いのでは！？エコで地球にも優しい感じがして良いですね。天然毛は開きにくいので長く使ってても、毛がへたりにくく、だんだん自分の歯に合ってくる感じもして磨き残しが少なくなってます。難点としてはヘッドがちょっと太めで、馴れるまでは使いづらいです。使ってるうちに竹の繊維が出てきて口に刺さりそうなので、ヤスリでのメンテが必要です。どっちも慣れれば大した手間ではないので、エコなことが好きな人には良い商品です！

大きすぎて女性の口には厳しいです。高価だったので高い買い物になりました。

ヘッドが大きいとのレビューもあったが、どちらかというと毛が長いのだと思う。今まで使っていたものと比べても2mmくらい長かった。のでハサミでカット。よくある市販品みたいに波状とかではなくフラットなので、いっそ気兼ねなく刃を入れることができた。ヘッドもまあ確かに少し大きい。持ち手はマルで先は四角。（正直逆じゃないかと思う…）ので刃物で削った。竹なので、鉛筆をナイフで削る感じで簡単に調整できる。色々と自分好みにカスタマイズできるので、こういうのは面白くて好き。毛が長いのも、各々で調整することも想定しているんじゃないかな。追記：⭐︎5→3約3ヶ月使用。ここに至り「製作者は歯ブラシの形状そのものについてもっと研究すべき。というよりむしろ、疎かにしているのでは？」と思うようになってしまった。というのも、前述の通り色々と手を加えていたのだが、最早原型を留めていないことに気づいたからだ。確かに修正できるという考え方からすると元は大きい方が良い（大きくなければいけない）が、そういったことは公式には言われていない。私が勝手に言っているだけ(笑)だ。考えてみれば、木工ありきというのは万人向けではない。ということで、開けてそのまま使うのは、できなくは無いが、快適には程遠いこと。穿った見方をすれば、製作者の怠慢が見られること・研究の跡が見られないことから、⭐︎5から⭐︎3への減点とした。ぶっちゃけ歯ブラシとしての使い心地は⭐︎1くらいだが、エコ的観点から⭐︎3とした。

The first thing you notice when holding the brush in your hand is how warm and natural it feels. I guess we get so used to the hard impersonal touch of plastic. Also the bristles feel soft while brushing - a welcome change to the abrasiveness of artificial fibers. I'll certainly be using this brush again in the future.

プラスチックフリー志向の方にはおすすめです。毛は柔らかく、ナイロンの歯ブラシより毛が開きにくく長持ちします。また、月一で歯科に通っていますが、磨き具合に特に問題はないとのことです。使いはじめに多少毛が抜けることがありますが、他の天然毛ブラシでも発生する程度で個人的には気になりませんでした。全体的に日本で流通している歯ブラシに比べてサイズが大きいので、規格品の歯ブラシスタンドに収まらない点が微妙です。
