Are these formaldehyde free eva?

Hello, There is NO formaldehyde in our EVA Foam. You may be thinking of Formamide, which our EVA Foam and most EVA Foam's out there do contain. Foamamide is one reason EVA Foam heatshapes so well and maintains its form after cooling. We have found that EVA Foam that doesn't contain Formamide doesn't heatshape as well and simply isn't as easy to work with. I hope this helped. Please let us know if you have more questions. Cheers!

Can you paint this foam with acrylic paint?

Hello, Yes, acrylic paint works very well with our EVA Foam. We do recommend priming the foam before painting. We prefer to prime with Plasti dip, but all/most priming methods will work. Hope this helped. Cheers!
