I've use a number of these types of products on my fine somewhat thin hair - pastes, pomades, clays, etc. This one works quite well. It's a bit softer than most, allowing you to work it into you hair without needing to add water or pulling excessively on your hair as you work it in. It doesn't clump too much either which is great if your hair isn't thick. I don't notice the smell and didn't buy it for that reason. Matte finish. Even with my longer Covid hair (~2'), it is a quick style in the morning. I'd recommend.
