I appreciate that I got it on time and wasn’t long wait. It was nicely wrapped in the box and everything. Quality is pretty good to me, I like the foam on it and the fabric isn’t easily stain while wrapping it to my headliner. I ordered light gray, but it looks to me like beige. It’s pretty easy to stick to the adhesive. I would have given it a five star if I got the color I wanted.

I finally got around to actually using this. Its very soft and easy to cut. Its a thin base which is good. The foam backing on the back helps keep heat out from the sun above. I would use this on my next car project.

I used this product to re-do the door panels on my 1941 Chevrolet 2 door Coupe - necessary to match the original tan-colored Mohair fabric (which costs $ per yard). Mind-you, I am the furthest thing from a professional upholsterer as you can get - but since our local auto upholster died, everyone in our isolated town has to get by on their own. It worked for what I used it for. I wish I would have had it when I re-did the headliner. I am grateful for the very considerate means the seller undertook to package and ship this product - not an easy task. The material arrived rolled - so no creases. Albeit, as one of my fellow reviewers stated, using a razor blade to open the box is almost impossible without nicking the fabric. The thickness and flexibility of the fabric appear to be incorporating well into the curvature of the door panel style - so far, so good. If the product was either thicker or contained more foam (as some reviewers complain of), it would be far too bulky as door paneling material. Amazingly, it looks very original - but how it resists dirt and wear will be the true test. Ok, will that said, Mohair costs $700 per yard and this material costs $33 for a really big piece ....... simply based on the price difference, I had to try it - if it falls apart in a year or so, hey, I can always re-do the job with the $700 Mohair - but in this life, you can't complain unless you actually try different alternatives.

My work truck came to me with what few niceties it may have had, removed. The floor is a rubber mat, behind the bench seat the rear wall is or was, just painted metal and the roof is just the metal the same color as the outside, only less faded. What I didn't know was that the headliner of the truck isn't just material like this, the material is mounted to a backer board that I do not have,l nor do I care to purchase one. Whoever removed the liner in the truck also removed the trim. So I've come up with a plan to just apply this material directly to the metal, but I'm a little nervous about doing a bad job. I'm thinking that if I can put it up using double sided tape and get it placed well I can then apply contact cement and do small sections at a time. I already did the back wall adding some insulation as sound deadening, and I went over it with a piece of thin carpet and it looks and feels nice, and this roll will easily cover the roof of my full-sized regular cab truck. I went with grey for behind the seat, but the beige of this material actually works much better with the colors in the truck. I'll just have to be super careful with cutting the material as I don't have the luxury of being sloppy with no trim to cover up the edges, but primarily my concern is muting the road noises and echo-y sounding tin can effect.
