It tastes terrible

I was entirely confused when I first tried chomping on a piece of this gum, but then I did a little research and learned more about this gum and what it actually is. This is not sweet American gum at all; it's Turkish gum, and it's apparently exactly as Turkish gum should be. It has a whole lot less flavor from the start (but no sugar or artificial sweeteners) and is a whole lot more dense than American chewing gum. This will give your jaw a workout (no, seriously, your jaw is gonna be buff when you're done chewing this) and your teeth a good scrubbing and leave your breath fresh, all without the sugar or aftertaste found with most other gums. It's not sweet at all, and it's not meant to be. Celebrate that.It also doesn't start to disintegrate after a while like other gum tends to. The flavor starts weak and stays that way, but you can chew this gum for quite a long time and it won't turn to gross mush or become unchewably hard. If you're like me and have a tendency to want to swap out your gum every ten minutes, don't bother, as it literally won't change anything. Really. Just keep chewing what you have and enjoy its subtle flavor, or lack of it.I tried the mint flavor but will probably pick up one of the other flavors after this runs out, because now I'm intrigued and want to experience more of this stuff. It's quickly grown on me, and if you're the adventurous sort, I think you'll enjoy it, too.Five stars.

Bought this hoping to train my jaw.After a month of using it on and off I’ve noticed a very small difference, not Brad Pitt yet, but it works for that and is the cheapest tough gum I could find anywhere.However the taste is extremely boring and gets me tired of chewing it after 5 minutes.For its toughness, it is but I feel like it’s more so thicker gum rather than hard.I think it’s pretty neat that it comes in a gas station like box, and in like sticks each with 5 pieces. I feel like if you tried to sell this in school for $.25 a piece you would get beat up.Overall it’s a good value, but you get what you pay for in its enjoyability.You do get like 100 pieces of gum though which is crazy for the price

The Gum has no taste and is old and hard. Should be discontinued and not sold. Not as advertised.

Strait up - our kids hated this gum. They just didn't get it and as lil American children they're definitely used to super sweet everything and super soft gum. BUT as other reviewers explained - you need to know what you're getting and be prepared. Adults on the other hand mostly loved it. Not sweet. Definitely more refreshing that candied. Texture is much harder than traditional American gum. Adult gum that give your jaw muscles a workout and leaves your mouth refreshed - 5 stars.

When I first got this it smelled amazing, the strawberry was so strong and amazing I couldn't wait to jump into the gum and chew away... I got my piece out and opened and when I felt it out of the wrapper it felt like there was still a film on it and I kept looking for plastic but couldn't find any so I decided to pop it in my mouth and go. My first bite made me think the same.. is there still plastic on this? There was ZERO flavor despite the beautiful strawberry smell it was so bland. If you've ever chewed on those wax bottles that is the closest I can describe how it felt and tasted chewing on this. It was not enjoyable at all, again zero flavor and the texture was just far from any type of chewing gum I've ever had. Only reason it got 2 stars was the smell.

It tastes horrible. my main purpose why i bought it cause i wanted to make my jawline better, and not be super expensive. all the other one were in the twenty's and this was only $7, so it was a good deal. Personally i put half a stick of a normal gum and this and all of bad flavor is gone, and there is 100 piece all the other one were 30-50, this is double for half the price, If you are going for the same thing as i am, i recommended it, but if you are going to eat for fun, it taste really bad.
