It works with gigabyte A520i itx board in 1u
This is exactly what was needed for my 1u security server. Many reviews describe it as a jet engine. I wouldn't say it's that loud. Now if you're looking for a whisper quiet cooler this isn't it. If you're rack mounting this in a closet it's perfect

Works great, check motherboard for fitment
Keeps my ryzen apu reasonable cool in an itx case that only has exhaust fans on one side. The VRM chokes between the screw holes on the board and on one side of the CPU socket did interfere with the cooler, so I had to shave the side down a bit and cut a chunk out between the screws on one end, but after that it worked fine.Make sure you have a compatible motherboard, or the correct tools for cutting a block of copper, because otherwise it's a bear to modify. ;)

Fills a niche need, but has problems
Many people had issues with VRM interference on small socket AM4 motherboards. I took extra care that my 1U systems motherboard had adequate space around the socket. I still had some issues getting good contact and spreading my aftermarket thermal paste; I put it on an Athlon 3000G, so the fan is reasonably quiet--any amount of power and heat would make the fan scream.

Perfect match for ASRock Rack X470D4U
Was looking for a while for a heat sink that would be fit the same orientation of the board and finally found this one. Replaced a stock AMD heat sink so I could fit RAM into the closest slot and it's been working great with temperatures around 40C running fans at ~1200 RPM. At this speed sound is barely audible and it's not until it reaches 50C that the PWM fan spins up a bit more at ~2300 RPM that you notice it.

What is this? Pretty much everything is wrong with this fan.
1. PWM control broken, fan always runs 100% (5500pm+). (A Noctua fan works fine on the same motherboard, so it's NOT the motherboards problem)2. Loose screws right out of the box. I needed to completely disassemble the fan to re-tighten the fan assembly.3. Aggressive adhesive on the backing plate. This makes it extremely difficult to remove without damaging the motherboard.4. SUPER LOUD. Incredible how much noise a fan can make.It is thin though, which means this is still the only option for 1U rack mount cases. :-(

Top Fan for Long-Term Use
We use these fans in servers running 24/7/365. Some have been running more than five years, and never has there been a fan that failed. You cannot get a better fan.

This Cooler is not suitable for ASRock B450 Mini Itx motherboard
For the begining cooler arrived in havily damaged box. When I've tried to install in on my Asrock B450 Mini ITX motherboard it has conflict with VRMs on the top and on the side so it has almost no contact with CPU itself.

low profile cpu fan
It fits fine an ASUS B550 motherboard. I installed it on a Ryzen 5700G. This CPU sink/fan should be ok with a low end AMD CPU. On my system, even at idle, it sounds too loud. Once windows starts checking for updates, it runs at 100% and it is so loud that it scares the cat so much that he runs to hide in a closet. I finally could not stand it and moved the ASUS mini-itx board to a bigger case with a water cooled sink. So I would only recommend it with a very low end CPU that barely gets hot
